Senate is trying to force the House to come up with even more evidence, and that’s exactly what they’ll do.
Bernie will benefit more than those “moderate” candidates.

Lamar Alexander was even considered a swing vote early in the week.
It was Cory Gardner of CO.
The four votes to swing for witnesses were going to be Romney, Susan Collins, Murkowski and Gardner.
Collins and Gardner will face tough elections this year.
Romney and Murkowski simply seem to not be beholden to McConnell.
The retiring Alexander seemed to say "look at me" this week only to show he's going out as a spineless follower.

Crazy Bernie will probably win Iowa but he is too far left to win the nomination.

Lamar simply took one for the team on his way out, but nobody should have been holding their breath for him anyway. Those facing tough elections are simply spineless. Romney is unencumbered but he's all alone, all the others like him "retired". Murkowski in a similar situation.
Murkowski a no too haha

Time to admit defeat. You may have won the battle when Trump was impeached, but you have lost the war when the Senate votes to acquit (which could happen tonight or tomorrow).
The House managers now realize it's all but over.
Another stinging defeat for the ?pole & the LR lib echo chamber
Trump wins again!

The GOP and WH defense would have done the same song and dance if the charge was bribery. They would have just moved the goal post to adjust to the charge... "the president believed he was acting in the interest of the country", "his actions, even if deemed bribery, simply do not rise to the level of impeachment"... come on man.
They would definitely not say that. Even the sleaziest Republican senator would never say that bribery is not impeachable. It's right there in the Constitution that a president shall be removed for bribery.
I'm not saying the Democrats would win the trial. But the failure to impeach for bribery made the Republican's snow job a whole lot easier.

Yes. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see John Bolton testify in the House next week.
Did you know that rigged was the first person to ever coin the phrase “echo chamber”?
We just don’t want a gas chamber. That’s for dictators.

Sorry for your loss. Trump is still your POTUS.

No, you were shown to have claimed ownership to the phrase “echo chamber” a few days ago on here, do you need to be shown up for the third time on this issue to finally accept you got it wrong?

Not gonna happen. Time to focus your energies on a presidential candidate of choice.
Trump acquittal is coming. Tick, tick, tick.

You must be new here. I coined that term years ago on the deleted thread and still use it on occasion.
Just how many years ago exactly did you coin the term echo chamber?
Bump...

LOL, rigged isn’t the sharpest tack.
“I’m done with fossil fuels. They’re done,” @MadMoneyOnCNBC's @JimCramer says after oil giants Exxon Mobil and Chevron reported Q4 earnings this morning. “We’re in the death knell phase.” https://t.co/rdcmoeRGMBpic.twitter.com/yl8iP7hpMi— CNBC (@CNBC) January 31, 2020

I coined the term going on FOUR YEARS ago, long before you ever popped up here. Most likely before you were old enough to vote, LOL!
Trump acquittal is coming. Tick, tick, tick.
So, they are currently debating whether to call witnesses but everyone has already announced their decision prior to this debate.
Is that correct?

Details matter. Just like most people say "Money is the root of all evil" when the correct term is: "For the LOVE of money is..."
