You libs can continue your mental gymnastics, but Trump will be the Republican nominee. And if he wins, boy will there be some changes.
1. He finally build a beautiful border wall and Mexico will pay for it. Just send your bill to the Mexican congress.
2. He will lock Hilary Clinton up. Nobody should handle classified information in such a reckless way. Lock her up; she belongs to the prison.
3. He will make another perfect phone call to Zelensky, and Ukraine will restart investigation on Biden family. Who else is leading the democratic side of pool?
4. He will deliver the best ever health care plan in two weeks. He is a genius, and is really good at everything.
5. He will initiate a new year gift exchange with Kim. Russia will be so scared, and the war with Ukraine will magically end in April.
6. When COVID comes back in 2025, he will be so ready for it. He will dominate the popularity contest against Elon Musk, and win in a landslide.
What else? Can he fire all federal judges and replace with all MAGAs, because the judicial system has been so ripped off?
I am sure all of this could have happened if he wouldn't have mishandled classified information. No he goes to prison for a couple of years. So sad, he could have turned around everything.

I wholeheartedly agree. “Some changes”? Yes. He has announced time and again that he will attempt to employ retributive, malicious powers not granted to him by the Constitution .

Pardon me if I’d been imprecise and incomplete: he will also use those powers granted to him by the Constitution and attempt to employ them in malicious, retributive, self-serving ways. But you should never believe the tripe you read on a message board. Do your own research. My point is wholly invalid if my claims are not supported by things the former President has said as matters of the public record.
This misses the point. Trump defenders will just say that ALL Presidents break the law.
And, sadly, they are not wrong. But what they don't understand is that few Presidents have ever tried to break the law for partisan gain , or in a way that upsets established bi-partisan norms. For this, he will be punished-- and would have been well before now, if not for his cult following.
Trump and his supporters think he's like Reagan, Clinton, Bush, Bush, or Obama, all of whom broke anyone's definition of international and human rights law with barely a whisper from the political establishment when they left office (they say other crazy sh*t about Presidential crimes, but don't appear to really believe it). But who Trump is really like is Richard Nixon, who, along with his Secretary of State, committed war crimes in S.E. Asia with total impunity, but was ultimately called before Congress and forced to resign before being impeached for, wait for it... illegal spying on the other party!

Boy will there. It’ll be a non-stop show of grievance designed to keep his mindless perpetually outraged followers (you for example) distracted from the fact that he never actually does or accomplishes anything save for lining his own pockets.

Talk about the rot of the liberal mind. No shame at all.

...Yes, Donald Trump is a flawed man; but his sins are minor compared to those of his persecutors."

If Trump were to get in office again the assault on democracy would go into overdrive. In 2016 he said he would refuse to accept an election where he was not declared the winner. In 2020, he followed through on that.
But don't forget he tried to undermine the 2020 election far in advance both verbally and positioning people (judges, etc) to ignore the votes. He extorted a foreign investigation into his political rival because the US justice system did not have evidence or the lack of ethics required to do it. He appointed a USPS Head who dismantled sorting machines in an attempt to stop mail in (democrat) votes from being counted and telling his supportes to vote in person. When that failed and bogus court cases were thrown out by his own judges for lack of evidence, Then he tried to get states to change the vote count and assign fake electors to the Electoral College. He asked the VP to override Congress and declare him the winner. Then he riled up his angry mob to go attack Congress and Pence for following the law. Then he stole all the secret documents he could get his hands on, lied about having them, refused to retun them and bragged about having them.
If Trump gets in again, he will be in until his death. Democracy over. Is that the change you are hoping for?
Like former President Donald J. Trump, Lt. Col. Robert Birchum was accused in Florida of mishandling classified documents. Like the former president, he was charged with violating the Espionage Act. But unlike Mr. Trump, Mr. Birchum, 55, a highly decorated Air Force intelligence officer, took full responsibility. His lawyer said he expressed “true remorse.” He even cooperated with investigators, providing information about how he kept hundreds of secret papers for almost a decade in his home, an overseas office and a storage pod. Despite all that, Mr. Birchum still got three years in prison when he was sentenced this month.
What’s amazing is all these communists, child perverted, whack jobs who have already seen the trial. Same losers who saw the Russia Collusion trial in 16’.

He had every right to take and keep classified information about the US and Allied capabilities to respond to foreign attacks and how they would respond to foreign attacks and every right to lie and hide and refuse to respond to return (for over a year) legally mandated demands to return documents and every right to break any law he choses to break regarding these documents but what I don't understand is:
Why did the FBI plant documents that he had every right to have?
