But also, and you're gonna hate this, but I'm one of the rare Australians that couldn't care less about cricket. I'd sooner watch paint dry.
I'm obsessed with football though ("soccer", as w*nkers call it).
Yeah.. let’s ignore the Ashes. At least until test 2.
Heard a few tubers talk about their footie team. Famously scouse Nick Bester is a Liverpool fan, an absolutely dastardly club. A rare L that for Nick.
RanToJapan is a Gooner. Hopefully he fares better in Europe with Valencia marathon than Arsenal historically have.
Full send parkrunner Max from South England always bangs on about Liverpool too.
FOD I reckon definitely supports a hipster club. Probably his local team who are in the depths of non league.
Brooms have Barnsley written all over them. Leeds an outside bet.
Tim Grose strikes me as Spurs
MARM I’m guessing Villa.
BenIsRunning changes depending on who gives him discount codes for his channel. Maybe he will get his channel name splashed on the front of Leyton Orients shirt.
Not seen any profess their love for either of the Manchester behomeths. Surprised City haven’t got Ben on board as they need all the help they can get to fill their stadium. It’s always nice when City win something as a win for them is a win for nobody as not a soul in England counts anything they win.
Seth gotta be ManUtd. Used to be big and winning stuff. Now irrelevant. Maybe a mini comeback will occur for him too.
Chelsea must have a few obnoxious YouTubers in their thrall too
Not very often a post in this make laugh out loud.

COYS!
Runtubes best podcaster Callum Goddard is a Chelsea fan - no surprises
admits he could have a stress reaction but it's so minor that he doesnt need to get it scanned.... despite it keeping him from running for 9 days now... this is a man who gets free scans from shilling. denial. "I've not run for 5 days and I've not felt any pain in the area for 4 days now" bro what, obviously
& spoiler: he clearly failed the 10min run-test that he mentions

For how small he is Callum might have the worst ratio of minutes of content/adverts ratio on the internet. Literally every video he’s at RunLimited with “ah this is Hugo he’s well sick and owns the place”. Or some random brand has sent him 4 pairs of shoes and he’s got a new mothtech t shirt (it has holes in).
This man met a fan at a run club and the guy mentioned he made sunglasses, so Callum asked for a gifted custom pair. The entire thing is in a video.

It's crazy how bad the Japanese are at running tangents on the roads. See 8:16 of the latest RTJ video, the entire mass start of a marathon takes the longer route around the wide turn 🤣
Dude goes out and cycles a 100 miler on Zwift - Are people paying him for coaching advice?
People like him just arent very bright. They seem to hear buzz words like double threshold and lactate meter, buy into them yet dont understand. If he was using his lactate meter after easy runs he'd see the readings were too high and slow it down. But that wouldnt look good on strava would it
The Bowden-esque title is killing me. The Serious Gravity of that full-stop, even though we all know as soon as he gets running again, he'll be double-thresholding. But, instead of a lighter LT1 in the AM to prime himself for a PM LT2 workout, he'll be rinsing himself in both sessions, then going out for a "Steady" 12-18km on the "recovery" days, all while racing an all-out effort every other weekend.

Made even funnier by RTJ bombing round the racing line on his own in a t-shirt

I get that there's always going to be a delay with filming, editing, uploading but also kind of funny that the 'maybe I shouldn't do Valencia' video was uploaded when he'd already been off running for like two weeks because of what may or may not be a bone injury. I suppose it's trying to pivot with the local half footage that he has without the obvious questions that follow if he just says did big sessions too fast off Chicago now I'm injured would draw up.
Seems to have convinced people on a few corners of the internet that this was in spite of his call to not do Valencia rather than absolutely the driver to not do Valencia.
I can totally relate to this! Running YouTubers have such a unique challenge, balancing training, content creation, and engaging with viewers is no joke. It’s impressive how some manage to keep up with their mileage and still produce quality videos. I’d love to hear tips from others on how they stay consistent without burning out.

He only took up running 12 months before becoming a full time runfluencer. The guy has no clue what hes doing and will shill literally anything put in front of him. The constant glazing of that Hugo Fry fella is also really odd, the guy is a decent runner but you'd think hes some kind of world class elite the way he goes on about him
Great to see Ben back running today after a few weeks off. His bounce-back-ability is second to none and a few other youtubers and amateur runners could learn a thing or 2 from him.

No, no one is paying him for coaching advice, he's not one of those YouTubers.
Fella is just a runner who happens to document his journey. You guys (and you're definitely all men) read way to much into all this. No one is paying him, and at no point does he say do as I do.
Guy has been paid to go out to Ethiopia with Great North Run company, you don't turn an opportunity like that down. He's obviously not done it for a training effect.
