Most of my anger is directed towards Cora. I can cut Houston's young players some slack, but he was 41 and should have known it was blatantly wrong and that the sh*t would hit the fan if they got caught. I hope he gets banned.
I was really surprised that Crane fired both Luhnow and Hinch. Luhnow might be the best GM in MLB and I don't think he knew too much about the cheating. Hinch is a great coach and knew about the cheating but broke a monitor twice to stop the cheating. I hate death penalties but Cora deserves it. Still I would allow him back in after a few years.
Hinch was the manager and if he had told them to stop, they would have. If they had said, "Make me" all he would have to do was get the GM involved. The breaking of moniters is meaningless. Luhnow claims he knew nothing about it which would suck, if true.
People talk about Cora coming back in 2 years or so, but he cost a GM his job, the Astros a fine, a loss of draft picks and severe damage to the team's reputation. I can't see another GM or owner wanting to bring him back. I think it would also be a slap in the face to the Dodgers.
