The dude was graduated from Wharton. We here at LetsRun post crap all the time. No one cares. But Trump is the president of the US - he needs to post stuff that is coherent and shows some kind of intelligence. Who lets him post this crap?

no one is saying odds are slim...it's a 50/50 or 60/40 proposition.
Political change is happening in the upper midwest - with all those states newly in play, no one is sure how the election will play out.
And all believe turnout on both sides will be massive...which makes prophesy very difficult. Can't go by past results because turnout will be heavier.
And incumbent presidents hardly ever lose elections, esp when the economy is good. But trump is uniquely hated and loved, so...
The expectations of high turnout scare me a bit. I always think of complacency from liberals when they think something is a slam dunk. They are very right to despise trump but not wise if they think he’s automatically expected to lose for that reason. People need to make history.

Only 53% white NH. 26% Hispanic.
W Bush won the popular vote in 2004.

The electoral college system most definitely DOES favor the GOP. It multiplies the impact of voters in less populous states. These states tend to be Republican strongholds.
Folks on here often say that "dirt does not vote." But it turns out that dirt does indeed vote. And it votes Republican.

That dirt does not vote 100% republican. There is no Red State that is 100% republican.
Sanders is the liberal many fear, and his polling theoretically makes trump a tougher opponent, but it’s all good from my point of view, and bernie also acknowledges that beating trump won’t be easy.

Its that just about the entire Republican party lives in fear of Trump. Trump is a loose cannon that is loved by his base. Elected Republicans therefore fear him and will only praise him.
We have a trial in the Senate, and Senators actually are forced to look into a camera and explain why they don't want any witnesses or any new evidence that might implicate Trump. This after they just took an oath to be impartial. THEY DON'T WANT WITNESSES AT A TRIAL. Think about that!
I don't think we have seen anything like this in our country before to this extent. This is more disturbing than having a president who is incompetent and lies. Its a whole elected body of people who are too scared to do their jobs. (And the voters (the base) who are too stupid to know or care)

You are totally right, agip. Perception on climate change is changing fast. More and more are waking up to the reality of the crisis. And it will be a winning issue for the Democrats, especially among younger voters.
But I worry about what happens if we elect Joe Biden. I don't see Biden making the climate crisis a top priority. Half measures won't cut it.
If we have another four years without strong US leadership then it will be too late to avert catastrophe.

I think you are all discounting the power of Russia's hacking operations.
Republicans have made sure that our election systems remain vulnerable to attack. There is evidence that Georgia's election results may have been manipulated by hackers in 2018. The election can be rigged without us ever knowing it.
