Sally, how can you object to the testimony of witnesses that would exonerate Trump? You would be proven right and all of us would be proven wrong.
What did you think of the Astros punishments? My Red Sox are next and I hope that Cora will be banned from baseball forever.
I would love to have ALL the culprits testify. Bolton, Mulvaney, Biden Sr., Biden jr., the whistleblower, Nadler and any other Republican involved in it.
As far as the Astros, I have mixed feelings. They need to be punished. Sign-stealing is okay if just by players in the field which is routines. The Astros took it to new levels and had outfield sign-stealing and relaying to the dugout where they would bang on trash cans to relay what is coming. A. J. Hinch knew of it and even destroyed two monitors to keep it from happening. He should have put an end to it but did not. His penalty is warranted. Not sure if Jeff Luhnow knew about it but he deserved to be suspended because the boss is always responsible for everyone.
The fact that Jim Crane fired both is pretty harsh. A good example from him. Alex Cora, the former Astros bench coach and the main guy responsible for both the Astros cheating and the Red Sox cheating is going to go down hard. He is a 2-time culprit and MLB will suspend him for at least 2 seasons, hopefully more.
Sally, what's the point of your witnesses? Biden will say that he didn't fire Shokin to stop the investigation into Burisma and that he didn't perform any favors in exchange to the payments to Hunter. Hunter will grudgingly admit to not being qualified to receive $50 per month, but will say he did not ask anything of his father in exchange for the payments. The accusations in the whistleblower's report were corroborated by the partial phone call transcript. Even it turns out he was in a drunken threesome with Schiff and Pelosi, it's still irrelevant.
Bolton, on other hand, engaged in a one on one, 2-hour meeting with Trump to ask him to release the military aid.
