1) The money being Iran's money in the first place and the money being used to kill Americans are not mutually exclusive. Indeed, one has nothing to do with the other.

2) Money is fungible (look it up). It is absurd to say that the money released was used for some specific purpose (such as "to kill Americans")

None of us are shedding a tear for Soleimani. The problem is your hypocrisy and Trump's hypocrisy. He ran on a few standard things, but one of them was isolationism and bringing troops home. Well, that's all shot to hell now. Troops being deployed, Iran pissed. And, yes, we will always win any war with Iran, but who wants that? Americans still die in wars we win, it costs a ton of money, and those who return deal with PTSD and other maladies of war. Iran apparently is well-equipped for cyber attacks. Trump said he didn't want troops deployed. You licked that up when he said it. Now you rattle your saber.

The other problem is the rationalization. So, Soleimani was the world's top terrorist. Easy to be ok with killing him then. Ok...now someone else is the world's top terrorist. Do we kill that one too? And the next? And the next? No tears being shed by me when terrorists are killed, but that kind of involvement is what Trump said he was against. The BEST way to deal with terrorism is to do all we can to establish peace and prosperity in all lands. Wielding might doesn't really help. There will always be people who hate the best. I don't watch or like the view and don't plan on voting for Bloomberg, but just listen to her endorsement... she explains what this country needs very well.
