It will be interesting to hear what Trump says in November about his masterful negotiating abilities and his commitment to keeping the US out of intractable wars.
It sure looks like he's impulsively ordering military strikes that curtail his negotiating position and could start, rather than end, another pointless military campaign.
But maybe that's just my take. If anyone sees a rational plan emerging please explain.
