In all of this Iran talk, please let us keep in mind a fundamental fact:
A President of the United States solicited the assistance of a foreign government against an American political rival. The President was impeached for that, and should have been.
The Iran stuff is important, but don't let the fact that our President abused his power for personal gain be pushed to the back burner--however much some people might like it to be.
Just being impeached for something (and his impeachment was as partisan as you can get) does not mean that he is guilty of those alleged impeachable crimes. "Impeaching" simply means to bring formal charges against the president. It is similar to being indicted for a crime. The Senate then rules whether to convict the president (find him guilty) or acquit him (find him innocent) of those crimes. The Senate has already indicted that he will be acquitted. So, please don't say he committed those crimes when he has not been convicted of those crimes. Thanks.

I find it so peculiar that Chuck Schumer 20 years ago said no witnesses were necessary in the Senate trial of Bill Clinton's impeachment because the Repubs did not have enough votes to convict Bill but now Schumer is insisting that witnesses be called when AGAIN there are not enough votes to convict. Can you say hypocrisy?
Washed up model.

Yeah but he may not agree with how trump is handling it. As has been revealed Soulimani could have been taken out before and wasn't, so it's not like this was their one and only chance. Maybe Bolton's insiders are screaming in his ear to do something about the psycho.

He committed those crimes, get over it. We all know he made that phone call and said those words, that was never once denied by him or GOP = crime committed. The Senate has the power to prevent his removal but he'll always be a criminal.

Indecisive, flip flopping, weak.
Do you find any of the GOP's outrageous hypocrisy peculiar as well? Are you angry at Graham for his massive 180 since Clinton's impeachment and since the primaries? They were all impeaching to bring back morality to the WH, what happened to those standards? You should be furious.

I do not like what Graham has done. I do not like the hypocrisy on the right. There is definitely sh&tloads on both sides. But, alas, it is only I who condemns his or her side for their shenanigans. I never see you calling our people on your own party. Only me.

You LIbs were rooting that Trump's nuclear talks with N. Korea would fail. Everything Trump does you are rooting for failure. You despise Trump so much that you put the country behind everything that might hurt Trump. Anything Trump does you will be critical. ANYTHING. You have so much hate that it clouds your thinking. Trump is a despicable person but has done okay as president with his policies. Yet, you will never root for Trump and for the country when success will bring accolades to Trump. No, you want EVERYTHING Trump to fail. You hate him with a venom that I have never seen. People disliked Obama but over time we grew to accept him. You Libs/DEms will NEVER accept Trump. You are rooting for his failure at the country's expense. Just a shame.

Not really true.
As in the Clinton impeachment, the Senate can decide if the the crime is worthy of removal. In other words, the senate can say ‘ok,
He’s guilty, but the crime doesn’t rise to the level of removal from office.’

Correct, he is despicable, criminal and we will never accept him.

Refer to flagpole’s command that you only ask questions. Also refer to his comment on you being outrageously stupid.

People were certain Richard Jewell committed "his" crimes. How did that end up for you rush-to-judgementers?

What is it about your life that you have to continually insult people here? How screwed up is your life that you engage in insults on a forum where discourse is supposedly applauded?

Jewell was never even indicted or charged. And I never passed judgement on him.
Tiny was indicted with overwhelming evidence. Tiny has offered no evidence in his defense. Worse than that, Tiny has blocked the testimony of people who could easily testify that he didn't do it.
He committed those crimes.
