It's not appearing likely that the senate will call him as a witness.
However, I wonder what Bolton would say if the House now sends him a subpoena.
Would Bolton refuse the House when he has already said Senate testimony is OK?
I believe he has to testify to the House first. Then the Senate can call him in to justify/clarify/expanded on his testimony. Otherwise, McConnell will ignore him.

They really don’t believe his bull crap. It’s all about us vs them or owning the libs. The cowardly President Bone Spurs can completely reverse his stance on ANY issue and the trailer park crowd will still support him. If Trump tweeted today that he was going to raise taxes, tighten up on regulations and support Roe vs Wade......those fools would find a reason to justify his flip flop and continue to support him.
I totally agree! The main goal is to OWN THE LIBS. They know 45 is a racist, liar, serial sex abuser but liberals hate him so they love him. This Iranian mess is completely opposite of what he promised but they still support it. Sad

I supposed the House inquiry may still be officially open since they did not release the articles. Either way, it doesn't look good for the GOP to dismiss the trial or refuse to hear witnesses when one is saying he will testify.

It’s evident they are not driven by Any meaningful principle.
I think they have it backwards, the “libs” or anyone who sees through Trumps BS are not the ones getting owned, the ones getting owned are the ones who pivot so readily for a New York conman.

They don't see that because they aren't prepared to handle the emotional devastation. Trump was supposed to be the savior of the dying white men and nutjob nationalists. They will hang on to him for as long as possible because the alternative is facing reality.

I expect you are right. Eventually most of them will realize that he was a fraud. It maybe after he’s left office but the penny will drop.

The story is that Bolton had a 2-hour, one on one meeting with Trump where Bolton tried to convince him to release the aid. How can the Republican Senators refuse to allow him to testify?

The HOUSE should reissue his subpoena and enforce it in court on the basis that if he's willing to comply with one chamber he should comply with the other. Maybe a decision would be expedited. Then they should charge him with using the courts to try to obstruct the investigation.

BTW - Pentagon COS, US Ambassador to Afghanistan and 6 other pentagon officials have resigned over the last week... nothing to see here

Wow- what an action-packed month! Sorry I’m late here, we had an incredibly busy holiday break. I didn’t even think about adding a month to Flagpole’s Flagpole streak until last night.
First, the IG Report and subsequent Horowitz testimony confirmed everything we already knew about the FBI leadership’s conspiracy against Trump. So many “errors” that went against Trump every single time? Please. The testimony removed any confusion the MSM spin machine was trying to interject. He testified that the FBI was “...either incredibly incompetent, or intentionality was involved” and “...though I didn’t find hard evidence of bias, I also can’t rule it out.” BINGO. And that wasn’t his job. That’s where Durham and Barr will takeover with their now CRIMINAL investigation. Their scope is much wider, and they have power to subpoena and a grand jury. It’s going to be fun this spring/summer when Trump is coming out of turn 4.
Did everyone see the Comey interview with Chris Wallace? If not, I strongly suggest you watch it. While viewing, keep in mind that the bumbling, often acting ‘confused’, clearly-lying person WAS THE FORMER DIRECTOR OF THE FBI!! Wallace absolutely destroys him. On a few occasions he looks genuinely shocked at Comey’s answer, and is like “are you serious?” The most disingenuous part of his act if trying to pull the entire FBI into the equation. No one’s blaming the entire FBI, you scumbag, we’re blaming YOU and your buddies.
So then the Demonrats plow forward with a silly impeachment vote, which of course gets ZERO Republican votes, and actually has a few Dems vote against it. Yet another fail after a wasteful series of public hearings. How many times do they have to lose on these issues before they figure out maybe they should start talking about actual policies that they disagree with?
And Iran. Oh Iran. After showing restraint after the Tehran downed a US drone and destroyed a tanker in the Gulf of Oman, Trump finally decided they crossed a red line, if you will, by carrying out an attack that killed an American contractor and messing with our embassy in Iraq. Trump ain’t Obama, punks. Nevermind the fact that the majority of Iranians do not stand with their terrorist leadership. And yet, what did the Liberals do? Begin apologizing to Iran. LOL! It’s true- Trump is a magician- he can get the Liberals to say anything he wants because of their TDS.
Then Kaepernick tweets that there’s ”nothing new about American terrorist attacks against Black and Brown people...”, which is so silly on multiple fronts. 1) Iranians are not Black or Brown. 2) The killing of Soleimani- who is responsible for thousands of deaths, including Americans- has been agreed upon by even Demonrats as not a bad thing. 3) How silly is it that Kaepernick claims to be standing up against oppression and inequiality when the company he is sponsored by has made BILLIONS off of slave labor around the globe?! LOL!! The idiocy and/or hypocrisy is astonishing.
Remember Clownpole said that Mueller was coming? How delusional has that proven to be? LOL!
Barr and Durham have now gone on record to say that they are coming, baby.
The clown has been cemented as Flagpole.
Current status of Flagpole’s Flagpole streak: 47+ months.
There's a lot of propaganda in your two posts, but I will focus on Ukraine. I believe Trump did exactly what he has been accused of and probably more. Certainly you want the witnesses with direct access to the president to testify to expose the Ukraine hoax.
When Clinton was impeached, all the facts were known. He received oral sex from an intern, lied under oath and obstructed justice.
What kind of a trial is it where the defendant can lie, block witnesses and get an acquittal from a jury that is terrified if him? It will be disgusting if that happens and that Trump will claim exoneration and rant about an attempted coup while campaigning.
I want the testimony so that it will clear that Trump lied to protect his presidency and that Republican senators gave him a free pass.
There’s ZERO propaganda in the EPIC posts. It’s amazing how you on the Left now have trouble differentiating fact from speculation and actual events from conspiracy theories.
Please- name something that’s not true. Shall I break it down sentence by sentence?

It will be a knockout blow for Trump if Bolton testifies. It will confirm the accusations against Trump and that he lied to protect his presidency which is far more significant than his daily lies on orther topics.
The Republican Senators might still bail him out, but I don't see how he could win or even run in 2020.

The killing of Soulemani is a show of force, a deterrent. It is nothing more than that. The head of the snake was killed. If the Iranians want peace, they should not support terrorists.
Iran has been killing Americans indirectly for many years. That is what they do. No amount of appeasement will change that. I don't believe they want war and don't think we will start a war. The Iranians are big talkers. They can't possible match the US in military might.
* The only thing they can do is terrorist actions via proxies. *
If they do anything like Saddam did, it will be the end of that regime.
Iraq did not tell us to GTFO. There was a non-binding resolution.
The only nation with a say in the ME is the US. We are the only ones with troops there. What nonsense are you talking about?
Killing another country's general was without question an act of war. We just strengthened the extreme elements in the Middle East by giving them a reason to unify, their hatred toward us. Just use some common sense. How would we react if another country killed one of our leaders, even a leader that we didn't like. We will be at greater risk for terrorism for years to come.
All the pseudo macho talk from at home posters cheering, yeah he deserves it, are reminiscent of the bozo's cheering on the start of the Iraq war fiasco.
The result of Trump act will strengthen Joe Biden's position. The need for a stable leader regarding international affairs will become more apparent. Only the most die-hard trump supporters really trust Trump in this situation.
Ha ha - man you’re silly.
Joe Biden was against Obama’s decision to kill Osama Bin Laden. That’s well documented.
The Left has officially lost their minds - defending Iran’s terrorist leadership is unfathomable. The guy is responsible for thousands of deaths..... heck, they just killed 1500 of their own people..... but “Trump bad!”
TDS is one hell of a disorder.
How embarrassing. Someone needs to tell him that here we are three year later and Hillary is free as a bird, while a bunch of his fathers cronies are behind bars or awaiting sentencing.
It’s like buying a Super Bowl winners t-shirt for your team before the final and wearing it even after they lost badly.
