Rowan's own press release says Clevenger ran the DMR. But here is the NJAC release:
PHILADELPHIA --- Rowan made history Saturday night at the NJAC Men's Indoor Track & Field Championships, as the Profs' 4x200 meter relay team shattered the all-time NCAA record — across all divisions — and multiple NJAC Championship Records fell throughout the first day of competition at the Ott Center for Track & Field at the University of Pennsylvania. TCNJ leads after the first day of competition with six of 18 scored events complete. TCNJ has 69 points, followed by Rowan University (65), Stockton University (33), Farmingdale State (21), Montclair State (19), Ramapo (14), Rutgers-Camden (5), Rutgers-Newark (3) and New Jersey City (2). Rowan's 4x200 meter relay team of Elijah Hendricks, Julian Conigliaro, Evan Corcoran and Rajahn Dixon won the event in 1:23.59, setting the NJAC Championship Record and erasing Penn State's all-time NCAA record of 1:24.70, set in 2013. The Profs also won the Distance Medley Relay in 10:16.96, setting another NJAC Championship Record. The DMR team consisted of Blaik Slavinski, Shakur Taylor, Teddy Wilson, and Aidan Brad.
Based on the splits, I doubt he ran.
10:16 is the conference record? Holy geez, that is slow. Lax could probably field five squads to run that.
DMR has only existed for 2 years at NJACs
they use the team that ran the time as the entered names

but used a diff lineup
Former NJAC class of the 2010's, I can confirm that the DMR has been a part of the indoor championships for many years.
From my experience, it was never taken seriously as an event due to it being a relay where you can only get one entry and one chance at points. With there only being a handful of teams you were guaranteed to get points no matter what, so we were better off putting our guys in the open 400/800/Mile where they might actually score points fresh and throwing together a B team for the DMR with guys that weren't in contention for points.
Anyone that had any chance of qualifying for nationals wasn't doing it at our conference meet. My team got our qualifier the week before nationals at a last chance meet along with nearly everyone else that made it that year, better competition there with people that could actually push you to a SB.
NJAC has two DMR teams at 9:58 or better this winter
Rowan at #2 is pretty secure with a 9:53 converted down to 9:45 so I don't see any reason they would throw their top guys in for yet another go at it without top guys to race. ("Secure" up until we see how things go with the current thread topic lol)
TCNJ at #12 is on the cusp with their unconverted 9:58, so they'll probably get booted off since there's still time left, unless they put together a stronger attempt at a last chance meet. Again, with better competition for it alongside other teams gunning for a qualifier.
Not sure what you think happens at our conference championship race but it has never been the place for a DMR qualifier attempt.
this is not true. the dmr has just never been a marquee event at the njac conference meet due to how challenging it is to qualify for nationals on a banked track (which njacs is always on). im sure if njacs were held at princeton or the hydraulic bank was lowered to a flat at ocean breeze more teams would run their top guys in hopes of qualifying.
Rowan has a legitimate shot at the national title from the 30+ points he could potentially help score at nationals...not to mention the depth of their other event groups. Do you think they are worried about being controversial?
Having worked in college athletics for 10 years, absolutely, I think all colleges are worried about perception
I applaud the D3 runners for starting the petition as it accomplished a lot. The lawyer replied with a very specific statement - that Seth was “cleared of any wrongdoing at Iowa State.” That should be easy to verify. All we need to do is get Mr. Clevenger to agree to a limited FERPA release in regards to that.
D3 fans and clean sport advocates , I'm mainly writing just to let you know this story is one we are taking very seriously at LetsRun and devoting a ton of resources to. It takes a lot of time to talk to the relevant parties at the NCAA, USADA, Iowa State and Rowan University. We plan on publishing a story on Tuesday/Wednesday of next week. That's all I feel comfortable reporting right now.
This thread is literally just a bunch of Hopkins kids who are mad that Emmanuel is not favored at nationals to a D1 guy who is now division 3 and it's really not any deeper than that.
Positive tests don't lie, but jealous college kids do.
Good luck at nationals, Seth doesn't need a petition because he isn't afraid to lose.

Not afraid to lose but certainly afraid to sign a FERPA release.

1. It’s not just Hopkins kids; I’m too dumb for that 5% acceptance rate but not dumb enough to let SC slide
2. Positive tests don’t lie but athletes do (cough Armstrong)

The now 500+ signees on Emmanuel's petition would like to disagree with you . . .
Either that, or Hopkins has gone quite a bit over the roster cap.

Two day schedule probably helps DMR, i have no idea what i was on about either I knew the DMR existed before this

well he sure wasn’t afraid to lose his spot at Iowa state lol
Doping isn’t black and white, positive tests only show if there are PED’s visible at the immediate time of testing; most substances aren’t visible in urine after 12 hours. As for blood tests/biological passports, let’s not pretend that there isn't plenty of info on how to beat those either. BBC Panorama and Icarus(2017) do a good job of demonstrating how even recreational athletes can do it. Not even sure how often blood tests are done in the NCAA either let alone D3. Something else to consider is the growing evidence showing that even short term PED use can alter a users genetic expression, well after they stop doping. All this to say, positive tests can lie, and have lied many times in endurance sports. Unfortunate truth
I just looked, WIAC may have changed things since I competed...they may have removed roster limits...
Let's not get sidetracked from the real story, which is that Seth is (likely) a cheater and Rowan (likely) did basically zero diligence.
The longer that Rowan sits on this the worse it looks for them. I'm shocked that the coaches haven't been fired yet. Better start looking for a new job boys. The only think people will associate with you is a doping scandal.
