They should..some programs can choose to fire everyone but distance and others can fire all distance and focus on something else. This is how track is going to be from now on.
Can anyone explain to me what this job is exactly? Is this just an assistant coach for the buffalos? Seems like they want an ops person but they also have an associate head coaching title? I've read this, does it seem like they might get an event group? Seems like Carlson may just be dumping off anything he doesn't like to do on this position.
I am familiar with the situation at UK. As we all know, Hakon Devries was under investigation for what goes without saying. While Devries was not terminated during the investigation, Coach Michael Porter stepped in to finish out the season. I am unsure the results of the investigation but as of Regionals Coach Devries was still under contract although not coaching. I am under the impression he will not be retained for next season and I would imagine we will hear about the new hire soon. I do not expect it to be Coach Porter.
