Bloody hell, man. All those facts that I supposedly can't get correct I'm copying directly from his book " Marathoning" with Joe Concannon. There's an appendix in the back listing all of Rodgers' marathons. If I'm wrong, then the book is wrong. Maybe you should go back and read it again.
Excuse me. The centerpiece of the book is the anecdotes and biographies of the top runners such as Hill, Waitz, Lopes et al... and Noakes' ability to thread together analysis and cite things such as "the Zatopek effect" and the phenomenon of overtraining. If you can't see that then I must cite the old saw: "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink."
