Well, Nike made those singlets a couple years back w/ a mesh "pouch" on the front that you slipped your number into.
That's what I love about the Westport Summer Series, still retro after 43 years - they hand you a tongue depressor when you finish with your place on it, you turn it in at the scorers table, like XC. And amazingly, it works just as well as pull tags or chips, w/ a hell of a lot less hassle. I think some of the sticks are the originals, from 43 years ago.
So at Westport, you can go shirtless or not, depending on the weather. I usually opt for the latter, but we'll see this Sat - supposed to be really sticky. Personally, I agree w/ the guy who said "it's not the heat, it's the humidity." I hate this soupy stuff.
