Creepy men refer to women as beautiful when addressing them, and creepy men have very strange, controlling views on what women should do when pregnant.

Life expectancy went down in the US last year. We might not be marching toward the promised land after all. Nations do slump into decline. Civilizations do crumble. It's possible that the "luddites and ignoramuses" are often the first ones to notice it happening while the oligarchy happily keeps the masses distracted and bribed with pie in the sky promises.

But especially in these cases where the woman was a willing participant, I really support these pleas to consider non-abortive options. You had sex, you weren't responsible enough to double- or triple-up on birth control methods, and she's pregnant. Time to deal with it like an adult.

You've got to be 100% honest with her on where you stand about having a kid at this point, and what you feel like you're able to commit to. If she doesn't want a kid right now either, but is willing to try carrying to term, seriously consider adoption. There are all sorts of options for the birth parents in terms of level of commitment or contact after adoption. And parents considering adoption are likely to really, really want a child and have to means to provide a good life for them. Heck, infants are always in demand so the baby is likely to be adopted before it's even born.

If your girlfriend is able and willing to put her body through that, and the baby survives, it would be a gift of life for the kid and gift of family for the adoptive parents.

Abortion as the “right choice”, according to whom? The only ones who win are the abortion providers $$$ and big pharmaceutical $$$ and the politicians who force the public to pay for this $500M/year to Planned Parenthood). The woman can have her uterus torn, be made infertile, get breast cancer because abortion can create havoc with hormones, and she will suffer emotional injury for the rest of her life. And I have not even mentioned her child. Did you know Mozart was the 17th or 18th child in his family from a father who had syphillis? Knowing this would you abort him? Instead Her child can be adopted by those flying to Africa and Asia to adopt. And by the way, Planned Parenthood acknowledges that 54% of people using contraceptives will get pregnant. So that’s why they get into advising elementary, middle and high school kids about Sex Ed. And they readily hand out contraceptives when the girls are 10 or so that they can get the same customer in for an abortion at least 2-3 times $$$. Don’t believe me?

Youngest client she saw for an abortion was 10 years old.

I want to add that I have a close family member and several friends who have adopted babies. It is a beautiful process and I highly encourage it. There are wonderful parents out there who want to have children but can't( biologically speaking) and adoption allows for the fulfillment of life for the child, birth parents and adoptive parents. Please consider this option instead of abortion.

we are keeping it and i am dropping out of school, picked up a job doing asphalt with the city. parents aren't happy, they don't think its mine. i guess well see... im young but i will do good for her.

Now that a decision has been made...

#1 - Do NOT marry her. No need to compound one mistake with another potential long-lasting one.

#2 - Get a paternity test.

#3 - If the child is yours, you have to figure out how best to ensure the well-being of the kid, and yourself; it might be marriage, it might be something else.

#3a - Your parents need to either be supportive, or you need to find people who are - starting out this way only ensures that there will be future alienation.

#4 - You are where you are. Don't look back, move forward and do your best.

#5 - Learn from your experience.

#6 - and, as always from me, if you do decide to marry - Prenup required.

OP- What were you studying? It will be a pinch for a while, but you may be better staying in school than jumping out for a low wage job.

Why are you dropping out, at 21 you have to be close to graduating?
