It's actually unclear whether he gave false information. Likely, he was attacked (if as a hoax) by the Nigerians. More likely he can be assessed with conspiracy (to defraud?) or something. But no one's going to jail of/c, and $25K is very cheap for the publicity he got. Being a victim is a wealthy trade nowadays.
This has been a very useful exercise in identifying anti-white racism as anyone who sincerely believed from the first time details were mentioned about this supposed attack it was obviously highly likely to be fake.
It's now only a matter of time before the anti-white hate hoax is fully exposed for all to see.
