Actually, from a guy's perspective, I could give two shits if a girl spells correctly, particularly when she's typing on an internet message board. Nor would I equate spelling capabilities with intelligence. However, to waste your time correcting an inconsequential spelling error shows that you are a complete f...ing tool and will likely never date an attractive girl. And btw, kimmykimkim is gorgeous and smart, the kind of girl you'd want to go up to at a party and talk to, but since you are a loser and a tool, you wouldn't have the balls to do so. And even if you did have the balls to do so, you'd probably make an ass out of yourself. Well, at least you know how to spell. Most girls I talk to rank spelling ability above looks, personality, money, and sense of humor.

you fellows got me all wrong! all i was doin' was pointing out my better than average (ok, WAY better than average) fitness and attractiveness to the ladies. that was all. i'm sure some of you guys are pretty fit (seein' as how this is, as big johnson so cogently noted, a RUNNING MESSAGE BOARD). but at 43, i am EXCEPTIONALLY fit as exemplified by my 24 year old babe. that's all. i'm just giving you younger guys a bit of hope for the future. try to stay fit and you just perhaps could indeed be like me--at least have something to shoot for. if that is "out of control " ego, so be it. i really don't see how it is though, as, if anything, i have played down my considerable fitness and accomplishments. the ladies can see it though. i assure you.
i think "bigger johnson" took my comments in the spirit in which they were intended though. the rest of you guys seem a bit intimidated by me. again, i just put myself out there for inspiration, that's all.

Funny or not, I have a little experience from the other side of this. I am a 39 year old woman who for the past year and a half have lived with a (now) 22 year old guy. We are both runners (around 50 mpw and I'm not going to go into body fat, height, weight, etc.). My point is, so what? What does age have to do with it anyway? Ok, this 40 year old guy was boasting of his prowess with young women in an annoying way, but just because you are 15 or so years older than someone doesn't mean anything. Even 20 years. I really don't see the big deal or why some feel threatened by it.
(By the way, we have lots of great sex. Not all young men have "hairtriggers"!)

Did you get dropped for a 20 something yr old slut? Anyways, I doubt that the type of guys I pick would drop me ten yrs from now just to be with a younger woman. Success is only one of the qualities I look for in a man, along with looks, kindness, humor, athleticism, intelligence, drive, compassion etc. You are stereotyping all successful men as a-holes. Not so. You just need to look longer to weed the jerks out. My kind of guy doesn't treat women like possessions in which he should trade in after 10 years of wear. one thing i would add though is that if you are good in bed and i mean real good in bed, you may have a few more years before you get dumped.

People who continually correct spelling and grammar have nothing new, interesting, or witty to add to a conversation. And no, I'm not a "Daddy's girl." I didn't come from a wealthy family and I was never spoiled.
I'm not naive, I just have developed skills to weed out jerks and a-holes. After dating a few of 'em in highschool I learned how to spot them from a mile away. To this day, my girlfriends are still dating these types of guys. I guess some learn sooner rather than later. Good luck to you skinnybabe. Sorry 'bout the bad luck

Well, I never thought my thread would be hijacked and converted into a debate about mid-life crisis of men and women. Who cares if you can get a partner who's 20 years younger than you? It's the quality of the relationship that's more impressive...
Anyway...It's been one week and two days and I've already lost ten pounds. Yes, 10 pounds. Basically, I just limited my calorie intake to 1000-1700 cals, running everyday and going to the gym most of the time for an hour. It is a bitch trying to workout when I have no energy but I overcome it by forcing my body to do it mentally.
I'm pretty confident I can do 30 pounds before this month is over but we'll see.
