Ndereba has never broken 15:25 for the 5000m nor has she broken 9:10 for the 3000m - there is no way she could run two 14:52's BACK TO BACK (or three 8:55's one after another). All the "10km specific work" in the world couldn't bring her close to 29:45. Sub-31 is a far more realistic effort.

Erm.. she specifically prepared for it for several months on end (from after the 2002 London Marathon right up to the European Champs). At her absolute best over 10km, Paula is probably worth 29:50 at the fastest.
