But it sure seems like you are involved or close to the situation and are bashing the kids. Pretty crappy person does that.
I could care less. I just have seen 4 or 5 articles on milesplit about this when they should be writing about the teams that overcame challenges to actually make Nike nationals. I also oppose private coaches that insert themselves into school programs. There should be more reporting about teams like Bolles who came in under the radar and kicked some rear end. Just an example, I am not from Bolles.
Well I agree with you on Milesplit and the articles. Would love to read about Bolles and other programs too.

I am for private coaching though. Many schools do have awful coaches and I rather the kids have a choice. What I’d like to see is more races allowing unattached runners in hs meets. Like Manhattan Invitational, Paul Short, Great American for example.
So through al of this drama, the brentwood girls team is poised to compete in the state meet with freshmen and sophomores. Region champs, state meet coming. The boys team has one senior and the rest freshmen and sophomores. We will see what happens next week at the state meet. At the very least, this gives some credibility to the school coaches that have worked hard to bring this team together through a difficult time.
They’re 13 in the milesplit polls so they seem to being fine. No other Southeast team is ranked at the moment
