The same basic logic is why you don't see a lot of women in their 40's and up wearing mini skirts, bikinis, . . .
When you think about it for a second, it really is quite a sensible adaptation to the changing reality of their faces/bodies.

Ha!...they think they do! - particularly the single & divorced ones. I'm a middle-aged dude and I've never seen period of time before where middle-aged women who look old, and with many overweight, want to date guys half their age!
And the funny thing is many of these mid-20s young bucks are dating middle-age women likes there's no tomorrow. So, I don't know if it's a shortage of younger gals or just a phase these young dudes are going through or what...but it sure is weird. ?

I'm 58 and if I looked it and couldn't do any better that slideshow would make me want to kill myself. Thankfully I make good money, have the body of a very in shape 25 year old, and love to date around 40ish or so (it's a great age, trust me).
Yeah...right, if you're 58, I doubt you have a body of a "very in shape 25 year old." I'm a middle-aged cat who's been around the gym and running clubs most of life and I've never seen a 58 year old woman with a body of a very in shape 25 year old. I've seen some late 50s women who are fit & lean but there's considerable skin damage and saggyness around the neck, arms, etc. Many could pass for 40s but no way do they look like a very fit hard-bodied 25 yr old - neither in the body nor face.

In my opinion, due to aging and the end of the period, reduction of body vitamins, taking various medications and various diseases, hair loss and maintenance of long hair is difficult for them. So choose short hair....

Nope. I would not call most of those attractive hairstyles. Many of them make the woman look older. Also, several of those women have great silver or white hair that would look beautiful in a longer style.
My mom has had short hair ever since I can remember. She is extremely fit and still runs and races in her 70s. I love my mom, but to be perfectly honest, her haircut is not attractive at all. I've seen plenty photos of her when she was younger and had long hair and she was very pretty, but her short hair has always aged her and made her look less attractive. She has always said "women should no longer have long hair after a certain age." I never understood where that thinking came from. I had short hair for a while because it was "easier", but I never felt feminine. I'm in my late 40s and my hair is the longest it's ever been, I constantly get compliments on it, and I feel so much sexier and feminine with long hair .... I don't see cutting it short any time soon!
I've also never met a man who doesn't prefer long hair on a woman.
