Sub 9:15 3200 get full ride to Big 10 school?

Pot to Kettle. I wasn't patting myself on the back, but you certainly are doing that to yourself...how's your shoulder chubby? Incessantly bragging about a factitious position as a coach and your incredible knowledge of training that is all fantasy. You are a stupid braggart who knows nothing about training or times. I ran 48.4 in the open 400 and split a 47.7 on a relay. I guess you wouldn't have fictitiously offered me that tuition assistance. Trust me, I did fine in college and ran well without your incredible knowledge and support, how did I survive?

Those who claim that he would get nothing, zero, are not correct. I know which teammates got what when I ran 8 years ago, and yes guys got money towards their schooling.

I couldn't tell you if it came out to 1/4 scholarship or whatever, but the 3 or 4 posters who said no full ride but yes on receiving money, are correct.

Serious question: How do you guys make this stuff up if you don't really know? A lot of pretend coaches on this forum.

Truthfully, 9:15 is not as good today as it was 8 years ago, or even 4 years ago. HS programs have been getting better. He could still certainly get some money at a lot of places, but there are also a lot of places where he would get none-even plenty of programs that aren't top class.

True, and I absolutely agree with that, but it depends on the class of runners each year as well. I know what the top runners received last year in my state as I'm still in the loop and know a lot of these runners and coaches, from the high schools to the colleges. I know one that most of you would say he'd get zero, but he was given $4000 towards school, which helped. The coaches (??????) on here say this runner or that runner would get nothing, and that's not a blanket statement as I know factually what certain runners received in my state, even though yes, times have changed.

UWEC's Darin Lau ran 9:07. Kyler Leuck ran 4:14. Josh Thorson graduated last year, but he ran 9:00. NCC also has 4 or 5 guys that ran 9:20.

To be fair, guys like Lau and Thorson are/were top athletes in DIII but the point still stands. Sub 9:15 runners accept zero money and go DIII every single year.

No, "some" sub 9:15 runners accept zero money and go DIII every single year. I personally know more than a few that took money and did not got DII.

Darin Lau ran 9:18 in high school. You said that school got sub 9:15 guys every year, and that is clearly not true. Also 9:20 isn't sub 9:15.

8:55 guy got 1/2 plus several thousand academic at a Pac-12

8:56 guy got 1/2 at Big West

9:07 guy got 2/3 at Big East
