Pitt sucks and many Ship guys are on par with runners at Penn State and Penn. Pitt runners are guys that couldn't make the ship team.
Because breaking 5:00 to a 20-year-old is like finding a penny on the ground. He probably had the slightest thought his streak would continue at that age. The point is, he's achieving an incredible feat for his age and does it to inspire others.

After a career as a marathoner Spence reveals his trure desire to me a real man and run the mile.
He must publish his training for this last effort, one of the few true miles he's run, albeit paced the entire way, to receive credit.
So Cal Cush is still trying to fill out that Santa Monica speedsuit. However, beer and training for road 5km is not really doing the job.

No idea about the streak, but since the W50 mile record is 5:00, it constrains the time frame to likely less than 35 years. Probably around 30.
lol maybe you're referring to Pitt Johnstown? The main campus is doing better than they have in the past...helps to have a junior national champ. Too bad none of their slowest times are slower than Ship's slowest, otherwise you'd have a case for maybe 1 dude in shitsburgh not making Ship's team
