This is a nonsense excuse, if you eat contaminated meat you are far too sick to break records.

I don't think you understand the meaning of "contaminated" in this context. The banned substance itself would be the alleged contamination. But actually, it's added to the cattle deliberately as a growth hormone, so contamination really isn't the best way of describing it.

Seriously, does she buy her beef at Great Value? How does an elite athlete not eat organic meat. At the very least buy meat with no added hormones. It's stamped on most of the meat in stores. Even if you don't have a lot of money eat less meat but buy high quality!

That does not include tests ordered by the IAAF. Brenda Martinez screenshot her athlete test history and put it on Twitter last year, I think it showed nearly double the number of tests that the public could see, between World Indoors and tests the IAAF had ordered.

I mean yes, some athletes are tested more, but you don't know their full history just based on the USADA website.

USADA just let another doper get away with clenbuterol, and now this. What was the reason again, small concentration of the drug? Evidently she mistimed the drug usage, thinking it should be out of her system on race day. Hence the small concentration, because she only made a small error/wrong assumption.

+1, especially your point #2. If the testing agencies are testing at ppb levels, they need to know concentrations of the various banned substances that can be occur from eating common food items and set threshold amounts that are OK. Otherwise, it's not fair to anyone. If you test to fine enough concentrations, EVERYONE eating fast food will test positive for something.

Maybe, but in their statement USADA mentioned "low parts per billion". We're not talking about someone doped up like Carrie Fisher.

Surely this would not trigger a positive. What is the limit for this?
