The horse certainly is. You don't jump six feet repeatedly unless you are.

Do horses go to high school?

How are you defining "top high school boy"? To my mind, that doesn't refer to the statistically non-existent freaks like Ian Thorpe, Mike Chang, etc. They certainly weren't competing for their high school sports team when they broke world records and won Grand Slam events.
If you think you can rock down to your local high school and find ANY kid who could beat either of the Williams sisters, you're fooling yourself.
Serena is just as much of an athletic freak as Boris Becker was. So I think the comparison is fair.

The OP said "a" top high school boy vs "the" best female pro. So I think the best comparison would be to take the 5th or 10th best boy against the current #1 female. But I think comparing high school GOAT to female GOAT is also interesting.

Can you read?
MMA. I think Rousey could take down a high school kid
Ultras. How many HS aged boys do you know training for 100 milers? Add in Africans and then maybe not.

Tennis.
You don't know much about tennis. The top American HSers would eat Serena alive, and any other woman who might be able to rank in the top-10. And not just THE top player, but many of them. They are taller, stronger and faster than any of the top female pros of all time.
And this doesn't even include the rest of the HS world.
Those who say that Serena Williams could beat a top high school boy know nothing about tennis. I played Division 1 college tennis in the US and was a tennis journalist for a few years and I have traveled to most tournaments around the world.
Even if we're only talking about the US juniors, Serena wouldn't stand a chance. Let's not include people like Michael Chang or any other extreme outliers. Last year's winner of Kalamazoo (US boy's nationals whose winner gets to play in the US Open main draw) was Frances Tiafoe. Frances was then ranked 257 in the world on the ATP Tour. This ranking didn't really represent his real level since he was mostly playing junior tournaments at the time but whatever, let's say he was 257 in the world.
If we then consider that Karsten Braasch from Germany beat Serena and Venus Williams in two practice sets (6/2) and (6/3) whilst smoking cigarettes on the change-overs as he was ranked outside of the top 200, we can also infer that Tiafoe could also beat Serena and Venus.
Tiafoe is now ranked 170 something and is still 17 years old. The finalist of last year's boy's national, Stefan Kozlov would also demolish Serena or any top female women's player even though he's ranked 371 in the world. Taylor Fritz, the semifinalist of last year's national would also kill Serena Williams. He beat some really good male tennis players this year.
We're comparing apples and oranges. We don't compare WNBA players and NBA players, so why do we do the same with tennis? People see Serena's muscles and they assume she could beat skinny guys. Too bad, tennis is not about who's the strongest!

Basketball players are tremendously skilled, particularly good jump shooters like Curry. But tennis is closer to the skill end of the "skill vs. athleticism" spectrum, so it is more reasonable to assume that a top woman could be a top high school boy.
But the Serena and muscles thing is interesting. She is clearly stronger than the other women, but I've noticed that many women have muscular arms that are much weaker than what you'd think they'd be. I know a lot of women who do Crossfit and looking at them you'd think they'd be stronger than me (since I have skinny arms) but they can't do a single pull-up without a band even though I am bigger than they are and thus at a disadvantage in a strength-to-weight activity. Maybe women's arms look bigger because they have more subcutaneous fat?

LOL, she can't even beat Holly Holm. Get the top wrestler or mma fighter and they pound her

I totally agree with this. I grew up playing tennis, and am still close with some of the competitive junior programs. The top high school boys (and by that I mean the top 100 or so high school boys) are so much stronger and faster than Serena, there really isn't a comparison. Serena is awesome and I'm a huge fan, but the women she beats wouldn't crack the top 500 in U17 boys internationally.
I guess after all this the answer is "no."

Perhaps a better way to put it is; "Any activity wherein a top high school boy cannot beat the best female pro is definitely NOT a sport."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_world_records_in_Olympic_weightliftingAre you looking at the men's records? The 56 kg boys records are about 15% higher than the 58 kg women's records. And the disparities widen at the heavier weight classes.
Yes, the boys records are higher than the women's records. Isn't that the question asked? So a top junior boy would beat the top senior female in a weightlifting.
I am not clear on your comment.

5/10. You got some semi-serious responses.
Not even close. Ondra or Megos in HS crushed the level Puccio is. Ashima would give them a run for it, but not quite, and with her you are getting into the Olympic gymnast "child strength-to-weight-ratio issue". We'll see how she pans out as an adult. MIght continue improving, or might be another Katie Brown.Even in the 90's, teen Sharma was ahead of Lynn Hill et al.Climbing is much friendlier to women than most other sports, but teen male phenoms are always ahead of the female pros by a grade or more.

Maybe bouldering or speed climbing? I doubt you'll find a high school boy who could beat Alex Puccio in a bouldering competition, for example. Even if he's stronger or taller it takes time to develop the body sense and ability to see routes.
Oh, and I'll one up that video of Maggie Vessey pullup video from a week or so ago. Here's Alex Puccio.
