Maybe somebody can clue me in cause according to my wife and most people who know me, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed. So excuse my ignorance, but aren't drugs like EPO supposed to make you faster? If that's the case, why has this drug cheat- Mr Baggy Shorts - gotten slower in the 1500 each and every year since he ran his 3:40 back in 2001? Also, he's broken 14 once in the 5k, back in 2001 at Mt Sac and hasn't run as fast since. From 5k down he's slower now than he was 4 years ago. Now again as an idiot, I'm just curious, but why would anyone want to be on those drugs? If he is on drugs, he should get off them ASAP and start running fast again.

Based on that picture, where Hesch is running a pedistrian pace back on the horizon, I don't see how his sudden improvement could be unaided. I mean, what a more perfect candidate for a little "help" than someone who is going to go from "okay" to "mildly profitable road whore"? I mean, someone who is winning $600 here and there isn't going to raise any red flags. Therefore, maybe he is participating in a free experimental program?
