Rupp really should have gone for a fast time in Paris. No one would have went with him.

Americans didn't even try. Not sure why they flew all the way over there to hold there own little American sub-race. Seems like it'd be better to stick your nose in there and blow up than run 15 seconds slower than your PR and the leaders.

Not exactly a packed house in Glasgow
I live here in Glasgow and went to buy a ticket last night, the cost was ridiculous. I'm watching it on TV and the place is half empty.

I think the East Africans realize Rupp is more than capable of dropping them if they don't go with him.

Fixed that for you.

what's up with lagat? looks like he aimed for 13:30 - is that all he has now?
Don't know whats up with him this year. He broke 12 last year- can't imagine losing that much fitness especially with World silver this year.

HE BROKE TWELVE MINUTES IN THE 5000 METERS?!?!?!?!?!?!
Man I haven't been paying attention.
The 13:25.46 that Fernandez ran at 18 years old would have made him first American today.
I guess I can't blame these guys for not going with the pacers. Farah has won just about everything in sight by sitting and kicking. The one exception was because he was out kicked by Jeilan. I guess the top guys on the circuit think Farah is getting older and are looking to be the next big kicker. Certainly it seems like Alamirew is going to make some big bucks this year by this strategy.
Wow!!!! I didn't know he broke 12...That record should stand for awhile.
He has 7:41 for the 3000m. Should be equivalent to sub 13:20?

?
I'm listening to Yohan Blake make excuse after excuse on BBC2 about why he isn't going to the Commonwealth Games. Yet here he is at a DL meet. I wonder if Bolt will find an excuse to drop out of the relay next...
Nice run by SRR and McCrory. McCrory really powered home! Is that the year's first sub-50?
Yeah, but Mead has run 13:02 (13:26 today). Bumbi has run 13:13 (13:25 today), Hill has run 13:14 (13:29) today, etc. You get the point.

Drugs?
Blake goes down!
