What happened? Splits indicate she jogged lap 4 if I'm reading right.
Recovered for 2nd in the 800.
She went out in 65 in blazing heat, carried two girls with her, one of which (Collins)fell onto her feet, taking her down with her with 200 to go (both exhausted) while 3rd place girl (Robinson) went on to win and Maxwell was last or next to last. Collins popped back up for 2nd.She redeemed herself with an excellent 2nd in the 800, going out only one second faster in her first 400 than in the 1600, to finish in 2:08.
