LA/SF are part of the USA so why should it matter if Hassay/Rowbury are from those places?

As far as I can tell, you're arguing that Hasay's performance indicates she's not ready to win an Olympic gold medal. Which raises the question... why are you arguing this?! No one thinks Hasay is about to beat Dibaba and Defar.
You're apparently willing to concede that she might win an Olympic or WC bronze like Flanagan or Goucher. Frankly, even that seems like a stretch to me, but running a 2:08 in January doesn't change my opinion one way or the other -- it's just a early-season tune-up. You'd get a better prediction by slaughtering a goat and reading its entrails.
Either way, your 47 posts on this thread about how Hasay isn't ready to win an Olympic gold medal strike me as one of the odder displays on weirdness on Letsrun today. Congratulations.
Agree with all of this, even the part about SMJO. It's bizarre.
Says the guy that has to devote a large portion of his day to calling "fake" on someone masquerading as him, as if he has a reputation to keep up.
Once again Coach d shows how little he knows about track. Fact is, there was another Oregon runner in the race (Kesselring) who ran even faster than Hasay. Fact is Oregon coaching has consistently trained some of the most outstanding 800 meter runners in the country. Last year they had one girl who ran right at a 2 minute flat as a junior.
Kesselring is from Germany.
