3. 12 Ben Hill 4:08.17a Royal Oak

4. 11 Anthony Berry 4:09.03a Traverse City Central

5. 9 Cole Johnson 4:10.50a Rockford

Who cares? Last year Cole Johnson from Michigan can 4.10 as a freshmen. Michigan has the best runners and always will.

Cole is a beast with 150m to go too. His finishing kick at the cross country state meet (3rd, in 15:15 by the way) was unreal. I think I read that he plays basketball for Rockford too? A freshman that ran a 4:10 1600m that wasn't focusing just on track is very impressive.

That's over 4:12 mile. Idaho and Virginia have the best runners this year.

But no kidding this kid is incredibly fast, just three seconds off the national frosh record. How'd he do this year?

1. 12 Isaac Harding 15:10.4 Rockford

2. 11 Mitchell Day 15:13.4 Alpena

3. 10 Cole Johnson 15:15.0 Rockford

15:15 in cross country and third in the state along with a 4:13 mile so far this season with little to no competition.
