It was pretty interesting that there were only two captains interviewed when there are 4 on the women's side now that Kertesz left and Kasperski. And to back J Squire- Hadsell had the opportunity to talk to Jesse and didn't. Two opportunities that he didn't take but had. Also, he had a chance to speak with Doug from Deadspin and didn't. Coincidence? I don't think so. So instead he filmed interviews with Will Kunkel in a utility closet somewhere in Toledo, and because it didn't have the big lance/Oprah response he was probably expecting, it got cut to 3 parts and "unaired" footage is now on YouTube.
Even odder, is that he admitted to accusations in the interviews And then the blade interview with the 2 captains had them saying conflicting things lolololol. Oh Hadsell denies telling people not to take birth control? Odd, he must have told kristal personally "openly, in many team discussions" to not take it. What? That doesn't make any sense. He also admitted to drinking at practice and then Barnes and Kristal said that never happened. Get your lies straight if your going to be in cahoots.

I though he said that he discouraged the women from taking birth control pills because of all of the [extra] hormonal stuff it put in their bodies. Thus, the reason, he said, was for the hormonal issue, not the social or other issues.

I cannot think of a single coach of a women's track/XC team I have known that would pose like that on a team trip. He talked about how he had screwed up and done a lot of things that he should not, and this picture serves to illustrate (not prove) that.
There are far too many things that might be semi-innocent or at least acceptable in a general adult setting that are inappropriate, especially when done repeatedly, with a male in charge/control of a bunch of dependent (on him) and impressionable women.
His defenders here sometimes seem laughably disconnected from what appropriate standards of behavior are for someone in his position, wanting to substitute in its place something that is acceptable in positions of less trust and responsibility. Given the one-way arrow in authority and responsibility, essentially nothing of childish or bratty or whatever behavior on the part of women on the team is relevant. Even bringing it up, much less repeatedly attacking it, is a clear sign that the poster does not understand the situation.

What names on the team told you that I quit the team to run professionally and who told you I was kicked off the team? Also what is your name? I bet you cant come up with any names because that's a complete lie and your a troll.
I will always remember the good times I had running for Toledo and the good teammates I had on that team regardless of what people say about me.

I don't think his name as a human being should be completely destroyed how many other coaches have had similar situations and still been able to coach? The answer is plenty maybe not at Toledo but he should eventually be afforded the opportunity to coach college again...
