Fights happen "all time time after i finish in track"? I call complete BS on that. Football and basketball results are not changed when there are fights at the post game handshake. There just are suspensions/fines going forward.
It does not happen in other sports. Look at Xavier v. Cincinnati in Basketball last year (or the year before, can't remember which). That fight did not change the outcome of the game. It resulted in suspensions going forward.
If a couple football players get in a fight at the end of a Bowl game, they don't take back the touchdown one of the players scored during the game.
If the girls got in a fight, the NCAA should let the administrations at each school deal with the punishments.
You do NOT alter the outcome of a sporting event for something that happens after the fact. Only sports like ours that don't get taken seriously do that.

I agree, but what are you gonna do if pappas did throw a punch that connected? She's a senior, are you gonna declare her ineligible to run championship meets in indoor or outdoor? Only option for this is a DQ, things like this can't happen, you have to keep it together for the few minutes after the finish.

I'm the idiot? You are the one who wrote something that is nonsensical. DQs ONLY happen after races are over so making that statement is just another nonsensical one (officials don't declare officials DQs DURING a race).
Since you clearly have no idea what you are talking about, i'll help you out and explain to you that the DQs that happen AFTER races are concluded almost always are from actions that happened DURING the race -- not after it.

No, you call the police and have her arrested for assault. Has nothing to do with the sport. In no way did it affect the way the scores turned out.
