I have seen Christian's posts here for about 10 years and then seen results of his races making him one of the few "real" peeople that communicate regularly on this board.
Coincidentally, Eddy H was another regular poster who was a "real" person whose race results you could see.
I have found Christian entertaining in many ways.
I personally don't care if he took EPO - except for the part where he takes prize money.
But obviously this comes at a cost. He has to deal with the embarassment. He has to deal with a running ban.
Is is ever worth it to secretly take drugs to gain athletic performance, at any level?
Ben Johnson still has this hanging over him.
Antonio Pettigrew committed suicide.
Lance Armstrong will forever bear this weight and come up with denials.
We see Eddy H's struggles.
Christian may handle this well but I fear it will gnaw at him and follow him for a long time - and for very little benefit. This changes things. It's a little sad.

This is emblematic of what is completely ridiculous about what i've read today.
background, no troll and no embellishment. 29 yr old full-time lawyer, east coast. 70 mpw. I sacrifice a lot to balance the two. Was never a collegiate runner. 32 min 10k guy, 15:20 5k guy. I will never be a pro, i am mediocre. I get it.
I do, however, from time to time bring home a few dollars at lower key popular races. It's great. Can pay for drinks, dinner, a nice little saturday. To think that a total piece of shit amateur wanna be hawkish road runner has either pushed my result down the podium and/or reduced/eliminated nominal money i was entitled to enrages me.
alene reta. I'm sure some people here know this name; i've always amazed at the breadth and depth of knowledge some readers/posters exhibit. This low life piece of shit is also a noted doper and name-changer to boot. Google will tell the story of him. The current story and runner is no better or different.
I'm glad he remains on the west coast. If he ever got to the line for a race with me, i guarantee he wouldn't finish it. This person is the lowest of the low, an amateur talent who preys on other amateurs. Fraud. Stay out of Philadelphia.

Clearly. Not up for dispute and i think i was fairly explicit in that despite not blatantly writing it (not collegiate runner, not a pro, will never be). In fact i think it hit you in the face with my disclaimer.
Regardless, if you can do it naturally, and choose to do so unnaturally, i call shenanigans on the results. That is separate and apart as to what he can do naturally. What someone "can" do and what someone "does" do are wholly separate. he's a piece of shit blood doper and that's the fact. The fact that he "can" beat me is 100% true, BUT 100% ILLUSORY AS HE NEVER DID DO IT.

(c) cheating = disqualification. Him racing while cheating = should have been disqualified from however many meets. that is totally separate from what he could do naturally.
