This is the greatest hypocracy in the American media.

I get so tired of people that say everyone’s on drugs. Think about Jim Ryun. We all KNOW he didn’t do drugs. If he were in his prime now, he could definitely compete with the guys running now. My point is, it is ABSOLUTELY humanly possible to run the way they are running now.

Please track world; accept our current athlete’s results as fact. Until proven otherwise by the greatly improving drug testing.

It’s not perfect, but you will drive yourself batty trying to figure out who is, and who isn’t doping!!

The person who stated it was "Reindeer Milk" that helped him win multiple Olympic golds in the 5 and 10K truly broke my heart when I learned that he said it with a wink and a nod. I ran with him, mostly behind....but...after that comment I absolutely trust no one not to dope. He needs to hand those golds back and apologize.

Also, Bolt was prodigious but he stalled out or was burnt out. Xavier "X-man" Carter, Wallace Spearmon, and Walter Dix, all ran 19.6 before Bolt. And Bolt was soundly beaten in the 200 in the 2007 World Championships by none other than Tyson Gay. People say he wasn't matured yet but Bolt was precocious, running 19.9 at the age of 17, I believe.

His improvement from the 2007 200 meter final in Tokyo to the 200 final in Beijing is unbelievable. His improvement in the 100 was even more astonishing.

You want to withhold their money for crimes they never committed? You have a sure fire way to really kill the sport. The few paltry thousands runners make is nothing compared to the ultra millins pro football and BB make - and you want to withhold those paltry thousands? Wow, way to go.

People like Cowherd with zero athletic ability and zero experience in the sport shouldn't speak about what is and isn't possible. Journalists make a career out of exploiting others; take their word with many grains of salt. I could care less about the so called "integrity" of sport, THERE IS NONE. EVERYTHING WITHIN SPORTS IS SUBJECTIVE. The only people that cry about this stuff are incredibly mediocre, and fail to realize that the people at the top are there because they don't care about what you think or say.

Let the best continue to be the best at any cost. Those who are insufficient at life need to step aside and marvel at their greatness. Let the drugs run rampant. Those who can't keep up should be cast aside. This bullshit attitude has aided in the pussification of our society as a whole. With advances in modern technology and selective breeding, the argument about whether or not someone is "clean" will irrelevant in the future. The IAAF does nothing but delay the inevitable.

More like if you're caught doping before, during, or after Worlds or the Olympics, automatic ban for life. End of story. That'll get rid of the drug cheats and send a clear message.

And who arguing that US sprinting heritage goes back to the 1930s? or even before that? please follow the thread before replying, my point was that the assertion that Jamaica started being factor in sprints recently in the Bolt era to be false and shows lack of knowledge about the sport or rather someone having a serious US-centric view of the world

2ndly, a lot of American athletes have had massive improvements in time (even more later in life) are they on drugs?, maybe maybe not, but,there is only one way that is official and if there is not positive test, then an athlete is clean. Otherwise, all athletes are dirty and the field the balances out. Drugs,if any available to Bolt are available to everyone, if a third world track team can dope and hid it, then a superpower like US can actually afford to dope.

Reading through this thread brought up a few questions that i know some of you are more knowledgeable on than me-

Is Tyson Gay be the fastest clean runner of all time?

Looking at that all-time 400 list got me wondering about Sanya. Has she ever been implicated? If not, she could be the second or third fastest runner of all-time if not higher up(assuming the soviets were dirty).

Any speculation on Michael Johnson and Harry Reynold's cleanliness?

Jeremy Wariner's demise while his body still had a few years of progression left in it?

And last of all- Caster purposely running for second- any theories? Does a gold medal automatically mean different testing procedures?

I have lived this long without heeding anything Colin Cowherd says and I'll do fine continuing along those lines.

I wouldn't recognize him on an uncrowded street.

I know him about as well as he knows me.

So tired of all the doping accusations. The fact is that the guy is the most physically gifted sprinter on the planet and this is why he keeps winning races. If he is doping, then gather your best sprinters, juice them up with the best dope and go spank him on the track.

physically gifted based on what? because he is 6'5" and was fast when he was younger? very thorough analysis on your part. when he starts setting aside his blood for future testing, i'll start believing he is clean.
