Yes, awesome form. But lots of effort. This is fantastic:
Deano didn't Coe even admit that his right arm was a 'bit wingy'?
Can't decide for sure. But my top picks:
1) Hicham El Guerrouj - he looks super smooth even at a finishing 1:46 800m pace!!!
2) German Fernandez - his arms barely move.
3) David Rudisha - he's tall like I am, though he still has many inches on me. Sometimes during speed workouts I'll imagine my form looks a little like his. Gives me much confidence.

He's very good -- I don't think you can be a world class runner and have terrible form, but when he goes hard you can tell -- his forward lean increases. It's perceptible. Lagat I think is a little better. Whether in the first 200 or last 200 it's not that much different except of course he's going faster at the end.
Jim Ryun
Zola Budd!!!!!
legat
is the most perfect hurdler i've ever seen
I always remember Boaz Chimboya (sp?) racing Allister Craig in college. Graig is tall and Boaz so short, but smooth and fast turnover. Those legs were something else to watch.

I would go for Ovett, Coe had a habit of leaning back a bit...not that it did him any harm
Daniel Komen. Looks super smooth at 59 sec/lap pace.
Personally for sentimental and objective reasons I have trouble picking anyone but Coe.
But for the sake of putting another name out there of someone who is currently running, I would say Shannon Rowbury-

Sebastian Coe has the best form I've ever seen.
Geb's form was never perfect but like art, beauty is in the eye...
How can anybody not say Lagat?? Seriously, the man is a living legend.

For years and years, I also thought Coe had probably the best form I'd ever seen......until ElG and Kipketer came along. They convinced me otherwise.
