Why do women need makeup? Are they not pretty without it? I am amazed all the makeup women put on their face.

^ That's what I'm saying. If you're wearing makeup just because you want to and not because you're insecure, that's totally fine with me. My point was that I don't want women to feel the need to wear makeup, which you obviously dont.

Sometimes girls have bags or dark circles. Makeup fixes that, and they don't have to wonder "is he looking at my dark circles?".

Look for body over face. Any girl can looks good/decent with makeup, unless a really obnoxious feature like a huge crooked nose or something. From the neck up, its unlikely a girl isn't doing something unnatural with it: hair extensions, dying hair, trimming eyebrows, tweasing eyebrows, caking on makeup, etc. It can't be trusted.

The body is much more honest. Those slimming girdles aren't fooling anyone unless you live in pakistan. Also a girl with a poor body very unlikely to get better.

Who cares? If you don't want to date/marry a woman with makeup don't. What is funny is that all the actresses/models that men on this site would die to be with wear lots of makeup.

It isn't like men have never worn makeup. The ancient Egyptian men wore plenty of makeup - particularly eye makeup. Fads come and go. With the trend in men having more plastic surgery, all the new grooming products just for men, men now enjoying pedicures, hair transplants,etc., it wouldn't surprise me to see some "male" makeup being marketed eventually.

Wearing/not wearing makeup isn't a sign of self confidence. Plenty of women that I have known that wear no makeup have no self confidence and vice versa. Some women don't want to bother with makeup, dressing fashionably, having their hair and nails done, etc. Other women find those things enjoyable.

My wife does not wear makeup except for fun a few times a year. She looks great without it. When she does wear it, it weirds me out since I'm use to her not wearing it.

A few years back I was dating an attractive woman who wore makeup, but applied it well (wasn't obvious that she was wearing it). One afternoon on a day that we'd been together all day she said in a panic "I never put on makeup today". She looked fine without it, and I told her she looked the same as usual. I think this statement offended her, so I looked more closely and admitted I could see a small difference around her eyes.
