It's a shame the OP started a promising thread with such a bad example. People who use Coinstar are not lazy, they are just not getting the best deal possible. No big deal.

I get so disgusted at people who wait for close parking spaces and keep their car idling while stalking customers walking back to their car when they could simply drive to the back of the lot and walk 100 yards. When someone stalks me as I walk back to my car, I lead them on and act like my car is nearby and then after a while I bolt in the other direction. Serves them right.

I don't know if this fits the example of lazy, but I also despise people who in the winter, turn on their car and then go back in the house and wait a few minutes for it to warm up. Some people are so averse to even the slightest discomfort.

I do this sometimes but not because I'm lazy. I'm a bit of a germaphobe so I'll hit the button with something like my keys instead of touching the door.

I hate grocery store parking lot pedestrians who walk in the middle of the street knowing well that you are driving right behind them and they still don't move over so you honk at them and then they are surprised and give you the middle finger.

In NYC there are a lot of young men who are so lazy they won't even pull up their pants when their underpants are exposed! Oh wait, that's a fashion statement.

Many of the 8-12 year old kids in my neighborhood ride golf carts instead of riding a bike. In fact, it is pretty rare to see a kid riding a bike at all. These are quiet cul de sacs, not busy streets at all. A lot of it is parental status, as the parents compete to buy tricked out golf carts for their kids.

People who drive their fat-ass kids to the end of the driveway for the school bus. Go to a bus stop!!!!

Parents who run with a cup of water next to their kid who is running in a kids race (1/2 mile)

The fact that cheez wiz is hiring and gyms have to lower their rates to get more members.

The fact that skinny runners are told they look "unhealthy" and obese people are not given a second glance.

The growth in diabetes in elementery schools

The fact that in the 1970's, 80's and 90's the majority of runners in road races was men in their 30's.

and now it's men in their late 40's and many races are won by men in their 40's.

The young today are LAZY.

Their parents made them that way

On the one hand, technology has allowed this and made productivity more proficient. People just get more done, faster, without moving as much.

On the other hand, parents these days are so overprotective they don't let their kids do anything on their own. 30 years ago when my mom was working and was 13 if I had to get home from practice I walked the 2 miles home. Everybody did that. We were even allowed to take 50 mile bike rides with our friends on the country roads to other towns.

My stepbrother who was born in 1987 lived a mile away from soccer practice and his mom had to leave work early to go pick him up to drive him home. A freaking 25 minute easy walk. That is huge. Which is wierd because my mom who lived in the same city talks of 8 mile round trip walks regularly to go to the movies as a kid.

I should say "I was 13". My mom was 31 by that time.

My roommate (who is really a good guy) will often leave his plate in the sink rather than put it in the dishwasher, next to the sink. My other roommate (who is a racist a-hole) will leave his plate in the sink, with the chicken nuggets he didn't finish still on it, rather than throw them away first.

Its not good for your car to drive it cold, you should let it warm up. I dont wanna waste time while its warming up, so i go inside and finish getting ready to leave. Almost the opposite of lazy

do you cut your lawn with scissors as well?..its called being efficient. why wast time raking leaves for like five hours when you could use a leaf blower and be done in one.

Fat people parking in the spot closest to a store. It's even worse if they could have walked to the store. Parking far away in the lot will give them more excercise and it also keeps your car from getting scratches and dents. Park far away: It's the healthy, dent free way to park.
