This is what is wrong with sports. Mo can easily afford extra-special treatments.

Well doping as some comments are insinuating, is a problem of insidious and unknown character in running. But IMO this hate for Mo is a little out of hand at the current moment.
I mean first off look at how skinny mo is compared to andy.
Second they both were youngsters coming up in the school running scene like Moorcroft said. Ya seen that xc video if schoolboy mo kicking the butts of his fellow pasty Britisher school boys?
Foreigner my a$$. (He said non European is that right?).
Vernon is being a whiny, racist little pasty Rick Astley douche. If he gave up running I be the could make a killing in corporate UK or corporate America ( as an example).
There are certainly unpatriotic, liberal and antagonistic denizens if western counties like England and here in the US, but Vernon is just throwing an unsubstantiated cheap shot that can echo (unspkenly) with all the right wingers.
Third, cry foul about doping? Man f that. You can go to your local gym, the bar, popular lunch spot, corporate meetings, etc and see scores of men who are abusing steroids growth hormone etc. Turn on the TV set and look at NFL players and baseball jocks juicing like crazy, who sleep around, cheat around, screw and do drugs and live the life and have everything. I mean what a load of sh1t. And these greedy doping musclemen add chaos, aggression and bad examples to society. Every day, every week, my encounters add stories I could share.
I'm not usually pro-Mo, but I'm a bit irritated. Big dogs in every sport and arena in free enterprise can make arrangements like that. I think I heard on these boards years ago that El G did the same thing. It turns out the race was a record attempt and looking back on it the field wasn't also rans as the editorializing daily mail intimated. Granted the promoters weren't arranging pacquai versus Mayweather and calling up and doling out huge cash for the very best Ethiopians and Kenyans, but this is not a legendary home meet so why would they have to be expected to or want to do that. And in record attempts competition fields are usually irrelevant. Look at videos of every modern distance running track record, world and national, there is. Usually the same situation: pacers and the attemptor then a bunch of unknowns.
