I agree with all of the earlier posters. I wouldn't live in any of those places either.

That will give you a lot of options in the US...
Expanding it to Mexican states and Canadian provinces, how do you feel about Guerrero on the Pacific coast (Acapulco has an "a" but you only said states) or perhaps Quebec?
I WOULD LIKE TO LIVE IN DENVER COLORADO. They have a control center for world control under the airport. an underground city.

Much of this planet may soon be destroyed.
DIA was sold as an all-weather airport that would rarely shut down for more that an hour. What a boondoggle. DIA shuts down as much as any other gov't ripoff project.
Alaska. Too cold. Too remote.

And the Apocalypse will be led by Balthazzar, the Demon Horse of the Apocolypse from DIA.

I'd never live in a country that had too many foreigners in it.
nowhere west of the mississippi or east of the rockies. The only exceptions being texas and chicago. Also definitely not pittsburgh
1.Pittsburgh because they are such back arse people that live with their blinders on 24-7.
2. Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania...no leaders on the xc team (96-01)
Unfortunately, I was born in the burgh and went to undergrad at SRU. Both such immensely and I moved as far away as possible.
No way...Cleveland ?
But Bone Thugs n' Harmony are from there..."Cleveland is da city wherz we come from...."
That horse at DIA is f-ing AWESOME!
The airport is kooky though.
the south.
For me, the ENTIRE Gulf Coast region, although I could live in the northern half of those states.
Couldn't live in Las Vegas or southern Nevada.
Have not spent time in northern states in winter, so would probably rule that out as well.
Northeast Oklahoma (including Tulsa & Bartlesville) is quite pleasant, especially for a runner.
Mississippi (too hot/humid and full of stupid and/or poor people). North Dakota and Minnesota (too cold and full of dim-witted people)

You would, most likely, have to live in a red state to keep much of your $1 billion.
Eastern Montana. No. Thank. You.

luckily about .01% of that is enough for me
Have only spent 4 weeks on your mainland, but drove 6000km. Please do not make me live in Lubbock, Texas.

This. Tulsa has one of the best systems of running trails in the country and a big, active running scene.
