We do work, and we want to actually get something for our taxes, like they do over there. I don't have to argue, I've spent plenty of time with Europeans living in America, and they will tell you like it is. Oh, America, it brings tears to my eyes.

Thanks for the reply. I thought of going to work in Germany after college, in 2003, and am still considering it. I just think America is headed in a very wrong direction and no matter who is in office the re-establishing of America as the "Christian Country" is a road I don't really want to go down. Plus, everybody is too lazy or scared to actually rally around important topics, like the French or Greeks have done and continue to do.

What is the job market like there?

Yes, and I assume the guy who responded meant "reword" and not "rework". What a hypocrite.

It should be noted that it is the early retirement age. Full retirement is something like 65

Plus, it looks like it's mostly college students, who presumably have never worked a day in their lives, not a bunch of 58 year olds. People go nuts when governments try to ease back on entitlements that they can no longer afford.

Not sure if this has been stated, I cannot read five pages of a pissing match. The French have not always had this. The age was lowered around 1983.

Please don't assume the status quo is always better.
