Actually, while ETSU was in the SoCon they really had no Kenyans. They mostly had Americans, English, and Irish. They were actually pretty good too.

UNCG, Elon, both averaged faster than ASU at last year's conference meet

Recall that last year's conference meet was rather tactical for XC. Opening 1-2 miles were pretty slow, so I don't know if it's a good idea to compare times across years. UNCG and Elon both looked good. Elon totally deserved to win the meet, sucks for them that there wasn't a third party. App and Davidson match up very similarly based on this week's results. Davidson would win at a big meet like Regionals from Hopkins' low stick, App at a smaller race like conference.
Woefford beat three schools this weekend.
Davidson won't beat App, but other teams might. Kirwa will claim the threepeat.
