I'm transferring to Williams College in Massachusetts, not William and Mary. And Rainford just has indoor left this year. And Edwards is running cross. Since I was on the team, I know this for fact, obviously.

As undersecretary to the assistant Secretary to the A.D. at St. Bonnies I am pleased to announce that we have filled the assistant xc coach's position. Starting this fall Chris Savino, a former mile and 10k standout, and a local cornball 5k legend will be in charge of recruiting and fill the vacancy left by Mike Hunt who left to open a truck stop restaurant this summer.

Savino was also a finalist for several high profile soccer coaching positions nationwide, but was swayed by the opportunity to teach graduate level accounting classes in conjunction with close friend Warren Buffet in addition to his duties of holding water bottles, stop watches, and doing all things yes-man related.

I am officially embarrassed to be part of the Atlantic 10 Conference. To everyone else on letsrun who is reading this, i'm guessing all this BS is just the same person or two posting under a bunch of different names. So try to ignore it. In all seriousness, when do rankings come out.

If I remember correctly, they should come out at the end of the month. Where does everyone open up this year? I'm too lazy to look it up myself lolzzz

To those commenting on the a10 - please keep it intelligent and thoughtful. Rants about how one team is so much better than another isn't very productive. Though we have come a long way and are getting better every day, as a conference we have a lot of work to do; boasting isn't going to make it better. Good luck to those competing this year.

Does anyone know how long cocaine stays in your system? And J/W: Do you know if the coaches at William & Mary are okay with use to drugs for racing, workouts, all the time ect. Arn't they, I mean, I still without a coach?

It depends on the quality of the cocaine. Most of the stuff you see today is no stronger than a cup of coffee. But I know this guy who's pretty well known within coaching circles with some top notch stuff. Blue Starr he calls it. Some go so far as to say that this guy n his product are the secret to a championship.

This is not funny. All this joking about drugs, drug testing, and such could get some people in a lot of trouble. But I gotta admit, that Blue Starr sh*t is no joke. And lets lay off the Tyler Jones jokes. The kid transferred, get over it, and I for one wish him luck.

I thought we were moving beyond the immaturity.

Having gotten that off my chest, how does everyone stack up in their regions team wise? St. Joes surprised alotta ppl with that 3rd place showing, but LaSalle n the Dukes have reloaded to go along with a deep pool of non-conference contenders. I don't know much about the south and Northeast, or whatever St. Bonnie's and GW are in.

Can someone enlighten me?

First of all let me preface this by saying: this is a serious post.

That said:

1) The people who are angry about this thread not being taken seriously are desperate for attention 14-something 5k guys who think they deserve message board threads side by side with usain bolt, chris solinsky, and megan fox.

2) Who in f-ing world judges the a10 conference by a letsrun thread? You? If so, your opinion on all matters distance running is obviously forfeit as total unqualified garbage. As are your opinions on anything common sense in this world. Let the times speak for themselves. This conference consistently produces excellent athletes - athletes who often wouldn't have had an opportunity to go to a school like Oregon or Colorado yet still wind up fast enough to make their teams.

3) That cocaine shit is some of the funniest stuff I've read in a long time.

4) Stop being serious about things you shouldn't be serious about (your ego) and start being serious about things you should be serious about (running).

5) I know for a fact there are least, at any given time, between 6 and 7 DIFFERENT St. Joseph's Hawks and Temple Owls posting on here. So no, it's not one clown. This is a conglomeration of clowns. Start embracing that.

I don't think anyone is having trouble "getting over" Tyler Jones, transferring, it's just obviously hilarious to people who don't have your overly refined, pretentious sense of non-humor.
