Guys who wear peacoats/other "nice" coats but can't pull them off. Usually college-aged looking guys. Also anyone who wears a suit jacket+a tee shirt. Come on!

I'd say worrying about what other people are wearing makes you a pretty big tool.
This pretty much nails it.

I own one but I've worn it once, on the plane home the next day. It's nice to have but some buy one EVERY year. That's too much. Wearing one on a regular basis is just as bad as the 13.1, 26.2 stickers.

Good point... It seems like something you might want want to buy at the B.A.A. expo, but then never really want to wear it again. I've seen people wearing these Boston jackets at local 5k's etc. and it seems like they want you to 'bow' to them or something...
I saw a guy running this weekend in shorts and his Boston Marathon jacket.
People who wear something "Ironman" for every workout. I get it, I see your tat, you've done an Ironman, good job, now get over yourself.
3 inch bandana on the forehead.

I didn't know Michael Phelps ran too.
Foo Boo, Air Jordans, wearing a hat with no bend in the brim, sunglasses when its dark, too big NBA jerseys that look like womens sun dresses
Went through five pages of replies and no one said bow tie?
Or worse, a bolo tie?
Also, was at a track meet a week ago and it was mid-80s. saw a high school girl wearing running shorts and a Mountain Hardwear jacket while she was watching the meet.
Apparently she was going to go climb a mountain in the Arctic shortly after the meet finished.
Backwards running hat

A nice coat? What?
The wife beater says 'tool' like no other piece of clothing. It has to be worn as an outer garment though, usually 3 sizes to big.

A very expensive, formal looking coat worn in inappropriate places by people who look like they're dressing up in their fathers's clothes. Makes you look like a tool. It's not true for everyone, just certain people.
skinny jeans on a fat guy...very few guys can pull off the skinnies...stick to fitted though my fellow runners, we generally have nice legs, no need to hide them in "dad denim." I've always thought that guys who wear reading glasses without needing them were tools as well.
Sleeveless t?

Critiquing others and making fun of what they wear is a sure fire sign of feelings of inadequacy and some generalized self-loathing . A shrink can help you with that.
