since when does 14:2_ get you top 10 or 15 at nationals? and someone likes western washington a little too much there, im gonna guess an overly excited grad, which programs need haha. they have a solid team but nothing to get that worked up about, even though 7-10 at nats should be a disappointment for them. their top 7 for sure. and does queens have a 2-7? how fast was the course adams and metro ran? those times were ridiculous for altitude

Since last year when they placed 10th... and this year when they return everyone (+ a 4th All American).
rankings are out... grand valley is now a trophy team... s. indiana and edinboro now top 10. who are theses teams? they probably wouldnt even make it to nationals if they were in the rmac. and metro out of the rankings? hahaha their better than both of the above and should be top ten at nationals

i was only referring to meteo being a better team than edinboro and s. indiana, not Grand Valley, their 4th ranking is legitimate. i really feel sorry for metro, they lose their coach, keep a solid team together, and then fall out of the rankings.
i don't feel sorry for them - being out of the rankings doesn't make you a worse team, it just puts a chip on your shoulder so that when you race some ranked teams you make sure to destroy them. which metro will.
with Griak results in, how far will Mankato fall? What does this mean for SWB?
how will pre-nats this weekend affect shit...abc didnt run that well, still early, and siu and stonehill ran pretty fast at the national course
the pre-nats times seem slow, or at least stonehill and s. indiana's times they had to count were slow. 8k>26:00=slow when trying to be a top ten team
i thought SWB would move up higher than 16th, the griak course was VERY slow this year due to rain, and they still ran tough. also, everyone has written mankato off, but last year they ran poorly at griak and where handily beaten by SWB and drury, and then got 8th at nats, so it's not over yet.
Abilene is still the favorite. SWB ran well at Griak but has also been beaten by CMiss and Pitt St. SWB may not even go to nats.
How does everyone think the rankings will change? I see chico and grand valley switching again. Queens might move down because of their pack split and Pitt state probably move up a little since they beat Missouri Southern pretty good.

Very young team. Top 8 is all Freshman and Sophomores. Maybe not this year, but in 3 years when everyone is done redshirting.
