German just gave interview on runners world. He said he has a class that he must work on concerning "public service". He wants to work in law enforcement. So he needs to spend at least a month on the service of the public. So he said he has elected to SERVICE the 150 ladies sleeping in sleeping bags outside his room. He said he also needs some ab work so he will be very busy slapping his gonads home and doing his best to service our public. He has been killing himself for three years and now its time to give others what they want. Got to love the guy, after all this he is going to service the community. Work HARD German...as they say.

Maybe he'll show up and run just the 5k heat as a time trial and run 13:18 getting the AJR, just as his HS coach stated he was capable of this year, and then go home without running the final. That would set off all you Dee Dee's. HAAHHAAA

Well he declared in both the 1500 and 5K for senior USA's. Good for him! This is exactly what he needs. Lay it on the line. There is no downside, only upside. If he races bad so be it. If he races good, well hey!
Perhaps coach Smith saw this thread and figured his stuff out.
