Of course you are free to live in your own special world, where you can make up the rules of logic and reason, but don't expect to come into the real world and have anyone do anything less than laugh at your stupidity.

If not then, since you haven't already, give us a solid concrete reason why Regina is an outstanding role model. Breathe deep and try your hardest to use real world logic and reason.

I really think it is funny that Dunes Runner choose not to respond to the counter points SoCalPete made against his/her argument. It is obvious Dunes Runner is not on the same level as far as intelligence is concerned. I wouldn't expect anyone who considers Regina a hero to be however. Was it really ever a doubt that Regina was on drugs? If another woman achieves a pr in the 1500 at age 39 after running her whole life I will suspect her as well. Regina is a thief and she makes me sick. I remember watching her speak to young athletes over that last few years. I remember thinking how sad it was that all these kids looked up to her when she was nothing but a cheater. She is no damn role model. I definitely won't tear up when she dies in a few years from her drug use.

To get away from the mud slinging and back to ripping apart dunce runner's understanding of the facts, OY has not passed every test. Her samples showed positive evidence of illegal EPO use, and hence did not 'pass'. Unfortunately the IAAF couldn't convict her of a doping offence. She was 'not guilty', not 'innocent'.

Not quite like Lagat, Lagat's samples weren't conclusive, OY failed the drug test she just couldn't be convicted.

OY failed the blood test, which actually detects EPO. She wasn't convicted because procedures which state a urine test has to be performed first weren't followed. I don't know much about the Lagat incident, but wasn't it only his urine sample which was tested? If so that is only a pointer that something is suspicious and worth testing the blood for.

Apologies if I have the Lagat stuff wrong, just writing off the top of my head.

yes, the thread continues to digress at a rapid rate. When you use words like cunt and so forth it only sounds like immature generalization hearsay because you dislike the person. So many of you can't stick to the topic without personalizing and or trivializing the topic.

Regina is an athlete. She tested positive for THG, nothing else, and the positive is recent. She will probably leave T&F, retire, probably won't be able to beat this rap. It is likely she has abused substances in the past, but we don't really know. Her behavior on or off the track has nothing to do with her use of THG. She does not have a Donna Reeves image - but so what?. Does anyone really care if she looks her opponents in the eye when she shakes their hand? I don't see how that is relevant. And what is the purpose of calling a woman by a slang body part? I guess cunt is the equivalent to dick? Who knows or cares.

Probably time to move on from this discussion.

There is very little rationality of thought here.

Of course the inside intigators are counting on this, the only way their foisted bogus test results, at least in the case of the EPO "test" which has no basis from protocol, could be accepted and perpetualted so blindly and hysterically.

So did Regina Jacobs get caught or not? From what I can see she was a client of this lab but did she actually test positive? Not that it would surprise me.
