The only reason I watch it is in hopes the players will date me because I'm a beta male cuc* who only likes things women do because I'm lonely and manipulative
Women's basketball, along with nearly all women's sports, is boring as hell. Most men find it hard to watch "professionals" play a sport at a level inferior to most HS (male) athletes.
If you don't want to watch Sydney, Athing Mu, Keely, Muir, or Femke Bol, you are crazy. You are also demonstrably wrong that "nearly all women's sports" are boring. Most women's sports are as good as men's because you are only watching relative movement. Relative to each other, the women are just as good as the men.
You can't tell me that women's tennis, long jump, mountain biking, triathlon, heptathlon, swimming, skiing, 400m hurdling, high jump, diving, figure skating, volleyball, gymnastics, rock-climbing, or 800m running is "boring as hell." That is just not the case; all of those sports provide competition as good as on the men's side of the sport.
But yes, women's basketball is hard to watch because the rim is too high relative to their height and jumping ability. It removes the vertical game from around the rim and reduces everything to "fundamentals" which are not why I watch pro sports.
