Scalan ran 4:01 at Providence, now owns a restaurant in the Financial district.
Giffen ran around 2:17, and placed somewhat high in the O.T. race in the mid 90's. Think he is retired from the sport, has twins.
Do you, by chance, know the name of the restaurant?
Too bad Giffen dropped out. That dude was a self-made man. Back in HS, I actually used to be able to beat him. By the time he graduated, he was running times I couldn't match. A few years beyond that, he was running times I couldn't dream of.
