I think Uriano is coach at his old alma matter Manchester high not sure if it is boys or girls coach.

Is that the same Abdi though? Abdi came to the US not 20 years ago, but during his junior year of high school, I believe. I would say that would have been around 10 years ago.

I questioned myself too after I found another Somalian with the same name that is about the same age... but went to a small college to play basketball and doesn't seem to be there anymore. So I think it's a different Abdi. Can anyone shed some light onto where this kid went after winning two Footlockers??? I know he tried Northeastern for a bit (maybe as little as a month) before some SAT issues happened. Didn't hear anything after that...

How the heck can SAT issues come up after someone begins college?

In 2000/2001 I know abdi was working at a parking garge in downtown boston over near fenway. I used to see him there on the weekends when we would go out.

It was a very unusual circumstance on his scores... and I believe we was only actually at Northeastern for 1-3 weeks of training before it ended.

Scanlan's restaurant is/was called Trio's (he opened it with two other friends), but unfortuntalely I think there was some bad blood between them, not sure if its still open'.

Giff was quite the talent, think injuries and kids finished his career.

Erin Sullivan is married to Matt Lane. News story attached below says they're living in Maine and Erin is (was?) looking for a teaching job. They ran Beach to Beacon together this summer and cruised to a mid 38 10k.

Pat Morasse never really enjoyed running but racing he loved. He counted down the days of training starting his sophomore year. He worked hard but never had a passion for training.

Too bad... he was almost TOO talented to stop racing competitively for a few more years. Oh well, as we all know, competitive running isn't in the cards for everyone. Unfortunately talent doesn't always coincide with who has a desire to train and who doesn't.

WP is working up in Keene haven't talked to him in a while but he isn't running anymore the last i heard...God knows were St. Germaine is he's probably racing stock cars or raising racing horses or something like that...that kid is something else

Jimmy Olsen from Londonderry/UNH?? Disappeared in a fog of pot smoke up in Londonderry after college... he was going somewhat downhill from the running scene his junior/senior years.

speaking of londonderry... what happend to Dave Barrett? Does he still race at all?
