Yeah, David is, by his own admission, not willing to try some options. His objective now should be to determine why this injury isn't healing. He is either 1) continuing to do something wrong or 2) He has created an injury over time that requires surgery.
David, you need to find another doctor. Ask around and see who the local university or pro team uses. Either your current PT isn't helping or you're not following his advice (or both).
