I remember when Lance Armstrong tried to bully people with lawsuits. Didn't work out so well for him as he eventually received a lifetime doping ban. Good for @rowancleansport for standing up to bullies. Nothing to fear when you're telling the truth
I wonder who's behind the Rowan Clean Sport Initiative, just because they really seem to have their ducks in a row. Rowan sends them a threatening (but legally dubious) cease-and-desist letter, and the very same day Rowan Clean Sport not only isn't cowed but absolutely destroys them with their response. Seems they either have a pretty smart pre-law student on their side, or they're consulting with a lawyer.
I’m trying to figure out who it is based on their few following but honestly they could be playing 5d chess if they didn’t follow their personal account t
Yeah that was a pretty amazing response, though I'm not a lawyer so it's obviously hard to opine on the legalities of either side. I have a feeling the Rowan lawyer thought they were dealing with some pesky undergrad who would be easily cowed by their threats, which clearly wasn't the case. Runners are often nerdy, obsessive people, some of whom become lawyers, so not really the best group to have against you.
It’s unfortunate that the AD/Coach have essentially ruined their career reputations over this. It may be a slow process until they are removed (for optics reasons), but theirs no way they’ll be renewed. And then no one will hire them after that.
Just keep emailing the president and talking about it. Worst thing that can happen is that they deny it and the pressure goes away. The AD and Coaches are not living in reality. This isn’t just going away.
Rowan clean sport got a cease and desist from Rowan
This is why other people need to keep up the pressure too. If it’s just one account you can dismiss it. If it’s people from all over contacting the school it will matter.
Eventually Rowan will have to address it. Simply for the reason that they can’t maintain normal operations if people keep contacting them and asking to talk with someone about the situation.
If Seth runs during outdoor season they’ll have a wave of this every time he races. And even more so if he runs at NCAAs again. This isn’t going away.

Email. Call. Post.
What an absolute gong show of an email. He has absolutely zero concept or awareness of why someone would question Seth's eligibility.
"What do you mean, just asking the kid isn't enough? You mean we actually have to email someone?!"
The gross thing is that sooner or later, they're going to turn on Seth. The pressure will get to the point where they will point to him, say that Seth didn't tell them the whole story, and it will be just so, so gross.
We may soon lock this thread if it is just a few people posting back and forth to one another. Threads are not meant for 2 people to insult one another
