Serious question: Did SHK fall or anything like that? Feel like the gap opened up really quickly to 5+ seconds up/down the hill. Seems a bit bizarre for someone with her speed to fall off early versus later in a 2k run. Would've been nice to see how it unfolded.
I'll be anxious to see how Blair Bartlett does against the world in the upcoming U20 race. She did not run the USATF Trials and was added as the NXN highest US finisher. I bet she beats all of the other US runners.
The announcing is strong and while the course is a bit gimmicky, the obstacles did have some impact on teams and made for a bit of excitement. Splits were posted pretty quickly after the 1k checkmarks.
The view from the drone isn’t great. The US women stunk it up. Still lots to look forward too though! I am happy overall.
Who was the US guy who ran 3rd leg? He looked good. It's cool having these household name Olympians running alongside relative unknowns and the unknowns sometimes holding their own. Obviously bad result for the home team, and the coverage could have been better, but that was a fun watch.

She is a track racer. She doesn't have the strength to be close to Hall obviously
I was confused why she was the second leg because she doesn’t front run she sits behind people. When she got the lead from strand, she naturally lets others pass her and then when Hall made the move, she was too far back to respond and stuck in a set slower gear.

What is Hull then? All of these pros are track racers. There is no sustainable professional career in XC lol.

Wes Porter - he definitely threw down on his leg to put them right into medal contention!

I don’t see her on the line, maybe I missed her but looks like a scratch
